Water molecules swirling around star!!
The detection of water molecules swirling around a star is an exciting development for astronomers as it provides insight into the formation and evolution of planetary systems. Water is an essential ingredient for the formation of habitable planets, and its detection in the vicinity of a star suggests that there may be planets or other objects in the region that contain water as well. The detection of water molecules is typically done through the use of spectroscopy, which is the study of the interaction between light and matter. Scientists can analyze the light emitted by the star and look for specific patterns or wavelengths that are associated with water molecules. This discovery also raises the possibility of life existing beyond Earth. While the detection of water molecules does not necessarily indicate the presence of life, it does provide further evidence that the conditions necessary for life may exist elsewhere in the universe. Overall, this discovery is a significant step forward in our understanding of the universe and the potential for life beyond our planet. Which star ? In recent years, several studies have reported the detection of water molecules in the atmosphere or circumstellar disks of stars such as TW Hydrae, V883 Orionis, and W Aquilae, among others. It's worth noting that the detection of water molecules around a star does not necessarily mean that the star itself is the source of the water. Water can also be delivered to planetary systems through comets or asteroids, which may have formed in more distant regions and then migrated inward towards the star. Regardless of the specific star, the detection of water molecules is an exciting development that provides valuable information about the formation and evolution of planetary systems. Scientists observed a young star, called V883 Orionis, located 1,300 light-years away using the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array of telescopes, or ALMA, in northern Chile. The star Is surrounded by a planet-forming disk of cloud of gas and dust leftover from when the star was born. Eventually, material in the disk comes together to form comets, asteroids and planets over millions of years. A team of researchers used ALMA to measure chemical signals in the planet-forming disk, and they detected gaseous water, or water vapor. Their detection allowed the astronomers to trace the water’s journey from the gas clouds that formed the star and will eventually give rise to planets. What is ALMA? ALMA (Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array) is a radio telescope array located in the Atacama desert of northern Chile. It consists of 66 individual radio antennas, each with a diameter of 12 meters, that work together as a single giant telescope to observe light in the millimeter and submillimeter wavelengths. ALMA is operated by an international partnership between Europe, North America, and East Asia in cooperation with the Republic of Chile. It is one of the most powerful astronomical instruments in the world, allowing astronomers to study the early universe, the formation of stars and planets, and the chemistry of interstellar space. How old ? Their findings, published Wednesday in the journal Nature, suggests that comets formed from the sun’s planet-forming disk could have brought water to Earth. That means the water on Earth could actually be older than our sun, which is 4.6 billion years old. “We can now trace the origins of water in our Solar System to before the formation of the Sun,” said lead study author John J. Tobin, an astronomer at the National Radio Astronomy Observatory, in a statement. Typically, water molecules are made of one oxygen atom combined with two hydrogen atoms. NASA’s statement: Moving outward from the solar system: The next closest star to Earth beyond the sun is Proxima Centauri, at a distance of 4.3 light-years (i.e., 4.3 x 6 trillion miles). It is one among billions in our galaxy, the Milky Way. The Milky Way is a pinwheel of stars 2,000 light-years “thick”, and 100,000 light-years in diameter. It holds over a hundred-billion (one followed by 11 zeros) stars. The next closest spiral galaxy is M31 in the constellation Andromeda. It is nearly 2 million light-years away (12 million-trillion or 1.2 x 1013 miles). M31 is near the limit of naked eye visibility. The Hubble telescope extends the limit of visibility out to 10 billion (10,000,000,000) light-years. From Hubble, we estimate that there are about 50 billion (50,000,000,000) galaxies in the observable universe! And if each galaxy contains a hundred-billion stars, then the observable universe contains 5,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 (“5” followed by 21 zeros or five “sextillion”) stars. By contrast, a cube of water, one inch on a side, contains about 600,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 (“6” followed by 23 zeros, or six-hundred sextillion) molecules! There are 120 times more water molecules in the cubic inch of water than there are stars in the observable universe!!! Sun is younger than the water molecules! In fact, a new study has said that it’s older than the Sun. The research is based on the discovery of water vapour around V883 Orionis, a young star, 1,305 light years away from Earth. Scientists said that the water surrounding the star has the same chemical markers as water on Earth.

UFO incidents in the world
UFO Incidents: Are We Alone in the Universe? For decades, there have been reports of UFO sightings and encounters all around the world. While some skeptics dismiss these incidents as hoaxes or misidentifications of natural phenomena, others believe they may be evidence of extraterrestrial life visiting our planet. In this article, we’ll take a closer look at some of the most famous UFO incidents in history. The Roswell Incident: One of the most well-known UFO incidents occurred in Roswell, New Mexico, in 1947. According to reports, a UFO crashed on a ranch in the area, and the US military was quick to arrive on the scene. While officials initially claimed that the object was a weather balloon, many people remain skeptical of this explanation. Some believe that the military covered up the incident to hide evidence of extraterrestrial life. The Phoenix Lights: In 1997, thousands of people in Phoenix, Arizona, witnessed a series of lights in the sky that appeared to be arranged in a triangular formation. While some claimed that the lights were simply flares from military exercises, others argued that they were evidence of a UFO sighting. The incident remains a subject of debate among UFO enthusiasts and skeptics. The Belgian Wave: In 1989, a wave of UFO sightings occurred in Belgium. Hundreds of people reported seeing triangular objects in the sky, and the Belgian military even scrambled fighter jets to investigate. While some skeptics argue that the sightings were simply misidentifications of conventional aircraft, many believe that the Belgian Wave was one of the most compelling pieces of evidence for the existence of UFOs. The Rendlesham Forest Incident: In 1980, US military personnel stationed at RAF Bentwaters in England reported a series of strange sightings in nearby Rendlesham Forest. According to their accounts, they witnessed strange lights and a metallic object in the woods. While some have dismissed the incident as a prank or a misinterpretation of natural phenomena, others believe that it was evidence of a UFO encounter. The Battle of Los Angeles: In 1942, just months after the attack on Pearl Harbor, an unidentified object was spotted over Los Angeles. The US military opened fire on the object, and the incident caused widespread panic. While officials later claimed that the object was a weather balloon or a Japanese aircraft, many people remain skeptical of this explanation. The McMinnville UFO Photographs: In 1950, a farmer in McMinnville, Oregon, captured two photographs of a metallic disc-shaped object in the sky. The photographs have been analyzed extensively, and while some experts believe that they could be evidence of a genuine UFO sighting, others argue that they could be the result of a hoax. The Betty and Barney Hill Abduction: In 1961, a couple named Betty and Barney Hill claimed that they were abducted by aliens while driving through rural New Hampshire. Their story, which included detailed descriptions of the aliens and their spacecraft, gained widespread attention and has become one of the most famous cases of alleged alien abduction. The Belgian UFO Wave: In the late 1980s and early 1990s, a wave of UFO sightings occurred in Belgium. The objects, which were described as triangular or diamond-shaped, were witnessed by hundreds of people and were also picked up on radar. While some have dismissed the sightings as the result of misidentifications or hoaxes, many believe that the Belgian UFO Wave was one of the most significant UFO events in modern history. The O'Hare International Airport Incident: In 2006, airport personnel and passengers at O’Hare International Airport in Chicago reported seeing a disc-shaped object hovering over the airport. The object reportedly remained in the sky for several minutes before disappearing. The incident was investigated by the Federal Aviation Administration, but no explanation was ever given for the sighting. 2007-11-28 to 2011-12-13 Dudley Dorito EU, United Kingdom; West Midlands conurbation The Dudley Dorito were multiple sightings of a black triangle over the West Midlands conurbation of the United Kingdom which began in November 2007. The phrase was coined by the local press after hearing witness descriptions of the object. 2008-6-20 Wales UFO sightings EU, United Kingdom; Various cities, Wales According to media reports, a police helicopter was almost hit by a UFO, before it tried to pursue it. Hundreds of people reported to have witnessed a UFO on the same or preceding days, from different areas of Wales. 2009-1-5 Morristown UFO hoax NA, United States; Morristown, New Jersey In the evening, citizens in Morristown and other town in Morris County, New Jersey saw five red lights in the sky. After three months, two men from the Morristown area announced that they had organized a UFO hoax, meant as a “social experiment”. 2010-1-25 Harbour Mille incident NA, Canada; Harbour Mille, Newfoundland and Labrador At least three UFOs that looked like missiles but emitted no noise were spotted over Harbour Mille. 2014-6-2 to 2015-3-10 USS Theodore Roosevelt UFO incidents NA, United States; East Coast of the United States Multiple UFO radar-visual encounters by United States Navy pilots over a period of nine months. Videos of two of the encounters were released. The Navy has verified that the videos were taken by Navy personnel and has stated that it has not yet identified the nature of the sightings which they classify as unexplained aerial phenomena. 2021-2-21 Pilot’s UFO sighting over New Mexico NA, United States; Clayton, New Mexico The pilot, at an altitude of 37,000 feet (11,278 m) reported seeing a long cylindrical object that almost looked like a “cruise missile type of thing” moving really fast right over the top of them according to published audio. American Airlines confirmed that the radio transmission came from flight 2292. FAA a few days later stated: “A pilot reported seeing an object over New Mexico shortly after noon local time on Sunday, Feb. 21, 2021. FAA air traffic controllers did not see any object in the area on their radarscopes.” 2023-1-28 to 2023-2-13 List of high-altitude object events in 2023 IC, United States, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, and Venezuela Multiple airborne objects, sometimes reported in mainstream media as UFOs, were observed and sometimes shot down by military aircraft. Many of the objects were reported as meteorology or espionage balloons. Conclusion While there is no definitive proof that UFOs are evidence of extraterrestrial life, these incidents and many others like them continue to intrigue and fascinate people around the world. Whether you believe that these sightings are evidence of alien visitors or simply the result of human error and misidentification, the question of whether we are alone in the universe remains one of the most intriguing and mysterious in all of science.

From Ancient Civilization to Modern Navy: The Glorious Story of India's Maritime Heritage
The Indian subcontinent has always been an important hub for trade and commerce, and its maritime history is one that is rich and diverse. The country has a vast coastline of over 7500 kilometers, which has played a significant role in shaping its history and economy. The Indian Ocean is the third-largest ocean in the world and has been an important trade route for centuries. In this article, we will explore the Indian Maritime Glory, from ancient times to the present day. Ancient India The Indus Valley Civilization, which flourished around 2500 BCE, was one of the earliest civilizations to engage in maritime trade. The people of the Indus Valley Civilization used the Indus River to trade with Mesopotamia, and their boats were made of reeds and wood. The Harappan civilization, which was a part of the Indus Valley Civilization, had a thriving maritime trade network with other countries such as Egypt, Mesopotamia, and Persia. During the Mauryan Empire, which was established in 322 BCE, India had a strong maritime presence. The Mauryan Empire was the largest empire in the Indian subcontinent and had a vast navy that protected its coastline and engaged in trade with countries like Egypt, Greece, and Rome. The empire was also responsible for building ports and improving the infrastructure for maritime trade. The Chola Dynasty, which ruled southern India from the 9th to the 13th century, was another significant maritime power. The Cholas had a strong navy that controlled the Bay of Bengal and the Indian Ocean. They established trade routes with China, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East, and their ships were among the most advanced in the world at that time. Medieval India During the medieval period, India's maritime trade continued to flourish. The Delhi Sultanate, which ruled northern India from the 13th to the 16th century, was involved in maritime trade with countries like China and Arabia. The Sultanate also built ports and improved infrastructure for maritime trade. The Vijayanagara Empire, which ruled southern India from the 14th to the 17th century, was another significant maritime power. The empire had a strong navy that controlled the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal. They established trade routes with China, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East and had a thriving port city at Hampi. The Mughal Empire, which ruled India from the 16th to the 19th century, also had a significant maritime presence. The Mughals had a vast navy that protected their coastline and engaged in trade with countries like Portugal, Arabia, and the Netherlands. They built ports and improved infrastructure for maritime trade and established trade routes with Southeast Asia and China. Colonial Era The arrival of the Europeans in India in the 16th century had a significant impact on India's maritime trade. The Portuguese were the first to arrive in India, and they established a trading post in Goa in 1510. The Portuguese also established ports in Mumbai and Cochin and controlled the spice trade from India to Europe. The Dutch, who arrived in India in the early 17th century, established trading posts in Surat, Ahmedabad, and Malabar. They also built ports in Nagapattinam and Pulicat and established a monopoly over the spice trade. The British arrived in India in the late 17th century and established the East India Company in 1600. The company had a significant maritime presence and controlled much of India's trade with Europe. The British also built ports and improved infrastructure for maritime trade and established trade routes with Southeast Asia and China. The Indian Navy After India gained independence in 1947, the Indian Navy was established in 1950. The Indian Navy is the fifth-largest navy in the world and has played a crucial role in protecting India's maritime interests. The navy has been involved in various operations, including anti-piracy operations in the Gulf of Aden, disaster relief operations, and joint exercises with other navies. India's maritime trade has also continued to grow over the years. Today, India is the world's sixth-largest economy and has a vast coastline that is home to several major ports. The country's major ports include Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, and Cochin, among others. These ports handle a significant amount of India's international trade, including imports and exports. India's maritime trade is not limited to just its major ports. The country's coastal regions are home to several small and medium-sized ports that cater to the needs of the local community. These ports play a crucial role in supporting India's economy, as they provide employment opportunities and support local businesses. India's maritime trade is also expanding beyond its traditional trade partners. In recent years, India has been exploring new trade routes and expanding its trade with countries like Africa and Latin America. The country is also investing in the development of the Chabahar port in Iran, which is expected to provide a direct trade route to Afghanistan and Central Asia. India is also investing in the development of its blue economy, which includes sectors like fisheries, aquaculture, and marine tourism. The country's fisheries sector is one of the largest in the world and provides employment opportunities to millions of people. India's aquaculture sector is also growing rapidly, and the country is a significant exporter of seafood. The Indian government has also launched several initiatives to promote marine tourism.
