Stop paying for nonsense courses and start doing this instead

That is something we must discuss.

Is it really necessary to invest in writing classes? Is it really worth it?

Thousands of so-called writing experts market their courses to inexperienced authors. I'm not referring to a true "writing person" who provides actual value to the public - I'm referring about shady courses.

I'm writing this because I was once imprisoned in a course during my early writing career, but I was able to get a refund. (I requested)

I don't believe you need to pay a course to develop writing abilities in this age of information technology, whether you're a beginner, intermediate, or expert. Every day, every level of the writer must learn something new; it is an unending journey, not a destination.

You'll be out of the game whenever you stop learning.

Instead of paying for pricey courses, here are some measures to do.

Let's get started —

Step 1: Use the world's most popular search engine, Google.

You may discover everything connected to your search on Google, from how to bake handmade pizzas to how to launch a billion-dollar business. Everything can be found on Google. Enter your term, and information will appear in front of your eyes in a flash.

You don't have to pay anything for the hundreds of thousands of free writing resources accessible.

A laptop, an internet connection, and a hungry spirit are all you need.

Step 2: Visit Youtube

Youtube is the world's second most popular search engine. You may practically locate any videos or lessons that pertain to your search.

You don't have to pay anything to watch videos on YouTube, as you probably already know.

However, bear in mind that both sites include a lot of fake/incorrect stuff. (Google and YouTube) You must choose the correct answers, videos, and results according on a set of measures.

It will be top search results and ranking for Google, and likes, comments, and ranking for YouTube.

Step 3: Forums and Groups

There are a plethora of free online groups and forums, which you can discover on Facebook, Reddit, and other social media platforms. You can also find amazing forums for free on the internet.

Although it might be difficult to identify the proper forum for you, there are a lot more bogus and scammy forums on the internet.

An individual or a group of individuals may build a forum; simply do your homework. You do not have to pay anything to join the forum; however, there are several paid forums accessible, which I would advise you to avoid.

Step 4: Reading Materials

The single most significant tool you can use to advance your writing profession is books.

If you don't want to spend money on a writing book, you may get the ebook edition for free on the internet.

There are several places on the internet that offer free versions of ebooks. — Go ahead and look.

Step #5: Countdown

It's not going to happen if you buy a course and become an expert in the field of writing. Never.

Attempting to find shortcuts might jeopardize your writing career. Focus on your abilities, even if it takes time, effort, consistency, and patience.

Nobody can improve their writing skills in a month, two months, or even years. Writing is a process rather than a goal. It will undoubtedly take time to improve your writing skills.

Step #6: Mentality

Your Mental attitude is one of the most crucial factors. You can't improve as a writer unless you have the appropriate mentality.

Am I correct?

Practice makes perfect, so write every day, stay inspired, and keep hustling.

Think positively about writing instead of adversely about it; it will enhance your confidence and motivation. Don't lose hope; stick with it for a long period and the results will show up sooner or later.

That's It.
