Saoirse Ronan & Jack Lowden Spotted Together In London Plus Your Entertainment Roundup
Bond rumours, Slow Horses excitement, and a wild upcoming film from Saoirse

Earlier this week, photographers in London captured a familiar, beloved pair out in the open: Saoirse Ronan and Jack Lowden, spending time together in the city they call home. It was a simple, ordinary moment, a walk, a conversation, a quiet moment shared between partners, yet it drew attention immediately, because the world has been watching this couple with such warmth since they came together. The two welcomed their first child roughly one year ago; they were first spotted with a pram around September 2025, and since then, they have kept their private life exactly that: private. No announcements, no shared details, no names or genders revealed. And in an era where so many lives are lived publicly, there is something deeply admirable about their choice to protect their peace. They are building a family, and they are doing it on their own terms.
Naturally, whenever Jack Lowden is seen in public, the old rumours resurface: Is he the next James Bond? Every few months, the entertainment cycle recycles the same shortlist of names, and his is always near the top. He has the talent, the gravitas, the quiet intensity, and yet, there is something far more compelling on the horizon for him right now than any speculation. That is, of course, Slow Horses Season 6, premiering September 16 on Apple TV. The trailer has already landed, and it delivers exactly what we hoped for: the sharp, biting wit, the chaos of Slough House, and the return of characters we have grown to love. Jack returns as River Cartwright, and we already know from the trailer that his name and his family legacy become a punchline in the most perfect, Jackson Lamb way. Christopher Chung returns as the endlessly infuriating Roddy Ho, and perhaps most excitingly, Rosalind Eleazar is back as Louisa Guy, after sitting out the fifth season. Many viewers wondered why she was absent whether it was a creative choice or something else, but the trailer makes it clear: her return was worth waiting for.
And Rosalind Eleazar is about to have a moment far beyond Slow Horses. This September, at the Toronto International Film Festival, she stars in Chris Rock’s Misty Green, a film already generating serious buzz. It is described as a story about Hollywood, about actors, about the cost of ambition and the weight of fame. Early reactions suggest it could place her firmly in the Oscar conversation. If you have watched her work, you know exactly why: she brings a quiet, burning intelligence to every role, a vulnerability that never feels fragile, and a strength that never feels loud. This could be the performance that makes the world realise what those of us who have followed her already know: she is extraordinary.
Meanwhile, Saoirse Ronan is preparing for what may be the most ambitious phase of her career yet. She has been cast as Linda McCartney across all four of Sam Mendes’ interconnected Beatles biopics, set for release in 2028. It is a monumental role that will require her to span decades, to carry emotional weight, and to portray someone the world feels it already knows. But if anyone can do it with grace, depth, and humanity, it is Saoirse. Beyond that, she leads an absolutely dream cast in The Three Incestuous Sisters, adapted from Audrey Niffenegger’s illustrated novel. Her sisters are played by Jessie Buckley and Dakota Johnson; Josh O’Connor also stars. The film will be shot in black and white and will be almost entirely silent. The story itself is wild a tale of jealousy, telepathy, secret identities, mythical children, and a circus, and with that cast and that vision, it could be one of the most unforgettable films of its decade.
It is a beautiful thing to witness: two people building a life together, quietly and privately, while separately creating work that will shape the culture for years to come. Bond rumours will come and go. Seasons will premiere. Films will be released. But what remains most lovely is the image of them, walking through London, simply living. The work will speak for itself and it is going to be spectacular.
