• Agricultural Robotics: These robots are designed to perform tasks in agriculture, such as planting, harvesting, and monitoring crops.

• Educational Robotics: These robots are used to teach robotics and programming to students.

• Entertainment Robotics: These robots are designed for entertainment purposes, such as toys and amusement park rides.

• Domestic Robotics: These robots are used in households for tasks such as cleaning, cooking, and security.

• Space Robotics: These robots are designed for space exploration, such as rovers used to explore other planets.

Why we need Robotics?

o Service Robotics (1990s-2000s): Service robots were developed to assist humans in daily life. These robots were used in healthcare, education, and domestic environments.

o Humanoid Robotics (2000s-2010s): Humanoid robots were developed to mimic human movements and behavior. These robots were designed to interact with humans and perform tasks that require human-like dexterity.

o Collaborative Robotics (2010s-present): Collaborative robots or cobots were developed to work alongside humans in manufacturing and service industries. These robots are designed to be safe, flexible, and easy to use.

Today, robotics continues to evolve with advancements in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and other emerging technologies. Robotics has the potential to transform various industries and impact our daily lives in significant ways.
