Rado become the Official Timing Partner of England’s men’s and women’s teams.

Swiss watch brand Rado have partnered with the ECB, becoming the Official Timing Partner for England’s men’s and women’s teams.

Timing is a vital part of cricket, the difference between a middled cover drive going for four or an edge flying to the slips cordon, or between a catch plucked breathtakingly out of the sky or flying into the stands beyond. Rado, singular in its design, innovation and use of revolutionary materials, understand this more than most, and they are perfectly matched with the ECB. Both are driven by a strong team spirit, the pursuit of excellence and the desire to grow the sport.

Rado’s latest offering is the Captain Cook High-Tech Ceramic Skeleton, which extends the Captain Cook product line with a new skeleton design that showcases its innovative R808 movement, a marvel of contrasts, know-how and clever geometry. The new case is sublimated in a fiery environment where plasma temperatures reach roughly four times those found on the sun’s surface.

Rado is the first Official Timing Partner of the ECB, with their branding set to appear on LED boards at all England’s international cricket venues, as well as forming a key part of umpire and team review graphics.

“We are so proud to partner with Rado and welcome them to cricket as the ECB’s first Official Timing Partner,” said Russell James, the ECB’s sales and marketing director. “Rado are starting their journey in the sport at a hugely exciting time. This year millions of people will be glued to the action as we eagerly anticipate a joint men’s and women’s Ashes followed by an action- packed summer of International cricket, before the men’s 50-over team head off to ICC Cricket World Cup in India. We look forward to working with Rado to help continue the success England teams have seen at international level over recent years.”

“We are thrilled to be the ECB’s first Official Timing Partner at this very exciting time for cricket in England and across the world,” added Adrian Bosshard, Rado’s CEO. “We look forward to being at the heart of the action supporting the England men’s and women’s teams at all of their international fixtures. Cricket is one of the world’s most popular sports and we know how much it is loved by fans of Rado – it gives us much pleasure to bring Rado and the best cricket teams in the world together in this partnership.”

Thuram is a powerful presence in the middle of the park and he would bring a lot of dynamism to our midfield.

Since losing Gini Wijnaldum to PSG two years ago many Reds supporters believe we’re yet to fully replace the Dutchman and the energy he provided.

The 22-year-old has showed glimpses of his impressive potential recently while representing the young French side with his powerful runs up the pitch and deft skills to bypass his opponents.

We may have to wait until his involvement in the Euros is over before we find out whether he’ll be plying his trade at Anfield next season.

The two protestors each carried orange powder, as has become customary during their interruptions at sporting events. Protestors have disrupted flagship events in snooker and rugby in 2023.

However, no orange powder made it to the pitch, with the stewards and players working quickly to ensure they were kept away from the playing area. After a short delay in which the dust was swept up, play was able to continue.

England were delayed by Just Stop Oil protestors on their journey to Lord’s for the Ireland Test earlier this month. International grounds have also prepared back-up surfaces, in case there is any interference with the designated pitch for a given game.
