An interpersonal relationship is a social connection or affiliation between two or more people. Interpersonal relationships can include your partner, loved ones, close friends, acquaintances, co-workers, and many others who make up the social connections in your life.

In this case, there are various critical variables to consider. Rajah should determine whether the policy is part of the company's broader plan or is the result of his regional manager's effort. In the second circumstance, Rajah may have a higher opportunity of influencing the situation. It would be critical to determine Lauren's reason for implementing the policy if his regional boss created it. Lauren may be serious in her belief that this ruse will help the company.

Another option is that he expects to be promoted if he achieves his objectives. Rajah should also consider whether his boss will be receptive to his concerns. Lauren may dismiss Rajah's concerns, even if he makes a well-supported and persuasive argument. He is inexperienced, young, and inexperienced.

Collecting feedback from the cashiers is one technique Rajah should consider adopting. When a customer requests for a penny back or expresses even the tiniest discontent, he can demand that they document every case. He can bring the case to Lauren once he's gathered enough evidence. Rajah should avoid accusing his boss of a crime while doing so, as this will hurt his chances of succeeding. If Lauren truly cares about the company's success, he may recognize that his policy is harming the company's brand and reverse it. This method, on the other hand, maybe ineffective if he is motivated by the prospect of a promotion and is unconcerned about the company's long-term goals. If the policy is approved at the federal level, as previously stated, it will be implemented at the state level.

Explain why you think Rajah should report his boss to the police.

In this scenario, blowing the whistle on the employer is not the greatest option. According to Dubrin (2015), "the problem with blowing the whistle, especially in a large corporation, is that your complaint is likely to be ignored" (p. 371). As a result, Rajah should take advantage of any opportunity to address the matter without resorting to higher authorities.

What are your thoughts on the new one-cent-in-change policy's ethical implications?

Even though Lauren's statement about customers being unconcerned about a penny is valid, the regulation is unethical. The cashier basically robs the customer of his money by not returning a dime. Only in this circumstance would it be permissible to preserve the alteration.

Is it necessary to receive ethics training? If so, what's the reasoning behind it?

Ethics training could be beneficial in boosting employee understanding of ethical issues. If employees are morally conscious, there is a larger possibility they will protest unethical policies, forcing the company's management to reexamine them. Senior leaders may benefit from ethics training to ensure that they understand the impact of their decisions on the company's reputation and workplace environment.

How frequently should ethics training be conducted? Why?

To reinforce favorable habits, ethics training should be done on a regular basis (for example, once a month). Furthermore, in today's sociopolitical atmosphere, ethical standards may evolve with time. As a result, it's critical to make sure that ethics training is relevant.

What can the company and employees learn from ethics training?

They can learn to recognize unethical behavior and how to avoid it. They can also learn about the advantages of ethical behavior for company culture, public image, employee satisfaction, and so on.
