2021 wasn’t the best year the way I thought it would be. Yes, we got that racist orange orangutan of a president of United States out of the White House, got Joe Biden as our president and Kamala Harris becoming the first female Black Asian American Vice President of the United States which was good enough for us but then later the January 6 crazy ass riots at the DC Captiol causing a huge uproar in the media with humor and disgusts, leaving an officer dead, some rioters dead and the Capitol damaged. Still, 2021 we are still in a pandemic wearing masks, more positive covid cases, more are still dying from covid. Worst of it all, over the summer, I lost my good friend Chuba and four months, three days after I turned 26 I lost my grandmother leaving me in heartbreak, guilt and misery. Just when I thought 2021 was going to be the greatest new year hoping this whole covid cases will go down it was becoming 2020 the sequel.

But there were some positive parts of 2021......

I have been writing on Vocal Media and been getting paid very well. I learned how to drive over the summer and half of every day with the help of my good friends. I had starred in my first film called "Crazy Love" (not much of a main role but small role I played as a female abused victim at the park.).

I have completed my one woman show "I'll Never Be A Wife" , an original short play which is kind of inspired by me in my mid 20s unmarried while my friends are engaged or happily married and my personal single life. So I have completed three plays so far and still haven't made the stage but hopefully in 2022.

I am working on my next play Boys Like Us and my first true crime podcast Innocent or Guilty: The Chanel Lewis case which will stream in 2022. I am in So stay tuned!!!

As soon as 2021 heads to a close, 2022 opens and enters in a new year. Here's what I hope for the 2022. (My New Year's Resolution).

By Tim Mossholder on Unsplash
  1. I hope everyone will follow CDC guidelines so that we I mean we are losing millions of people so we have no choice but to mask up and get vaccinated.
  2. I will get the vaccine after the new year.
  3. Take some breaks off of social media to take my time to focus on my writing.
  4. Get my autistic son a hobby
  5. Help my son with his developmental issues (like behavioral specialist therapy or anyone who can help him)
  6. Get a Driver's License (So I have been practicing!)
  7. Communicate with families and friends as much as you can
  8. Meditation-Stay calm and be less depressed.
  9. Pray more often and Thank God in the end even if it's a good day or a bad day.
  10. Self study on films, acting, etc. (Something that can help me with my career-be able to make it to the top in 2022)
  11. Take Aeiral Lessons (Be flexible)
  12. Hustle and invest (for my production companies: GM films and Broadwaybug Productions)
  13. Get Therapy
  14. Set a Studio in my own to start my own show (Youtube and podcast).
  15. Label myself as a writer and podcast producer for my podcasts and other podcasts (make sure to listen their podcast ideas before I could produce it)

So 2021 it has been a journey, all of the ups and downs, I pray in the name of Jesus, 2022 will be better for everyone!!!!!

Cheers to 2022!!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!!!
