My Journey Building HexaLearn Solutions Into a Global eLearning Powerhouse
How HexaLearn grew from a bold idea into a global eLearning and software partner, driven by innovation, empathy, and a passion for learning.
When we launched HexaLearn Solutions more than 13 years ago, we dreamed of creating technology-enabled learning solutions that could really make a difference. Now, we're ISO-certified eLearning and software solutions provider with clients across the globe, but the journey so far has never been simple.
As HexaLearn's CEO, my path has been inextricably linked to the fast-paced development of learning technologies. At that time, eLearning was still getting its bearings. Flash-based content dominated, mobile learning was new and AI in education was still a theory rather than a fact. We didn't merely keep up—we decided to lead.
We’ve built content that’s taught employees, empowered non-profits and helped organizations train smarter and scale faster. Over the years, we’ve added powerful capabilities—from interactive HTML5 courses and immersive 3D simulations to intuitive LMS platforms, mobile learning apps and data-driven performance tracking tools. But regardless of the form, our core goal remains the same: to make learning simple, effective and accessible for all.
What actually sets HexaLearn apart isn't how good we are at tech—it's our approach. We believe learning can be a remarkable force. Behind each training module is an individual wanting to learn. Behind each system is an organization wanting to get better. That's the people part behind everything we do. It's what drives us to keep going—moved not by technology itself, but by making a difference in someone's learning journey.
We've had the chance to work for a diverse set of clients—global enterprises, startups, schools and socially motivated NGOs. Each has provided its own brand of challenge and opportunity, each making us better, smarter and tougher. We've found that innovation within eLearning is not about loading up on new features or passing fad buzzwords into the equation—it's about having perspective, sensing where learners are heading and responding with compassion and creativity.
There is a myth that technology itself drives digital transformation. The truth is, it is people—people who adopt, champion and execute it effectively. That is why we invest so much in user-centric design, co-creative development and continuous innovation. Our customers count on us not just to build solutions, but to co-create impactful experiences.
I’m incredibly proud of how far our team has come. What began as a small group of passionate minds has blossomed into a dynamic, full-service force—bringing together instructional designers, developers, multimedia artists and project managers under one roof. Each person adds their own unique perspective and expertise and it’s their unwavering commitment that drives our growth. We’re not just building courses—we’re telling meaningful stories, solving real-world challenges and shaping the future of learning, one project at a time.
Our journey hasn’t been without its challenges. We’ve navigated shifting technologies, tight timelines, budget constraints and global disruptions. But each challenge has pushed us to be more agile, more resourceful and more committed. We’ve learned to embrace change, not fear it. That mindset has helped us stay ahead—adopting new tools like AI-powered learning assistants, VR/AR-based training modules and data analytics dashboards that bring learning insights to life.
And yet, regardless of how sophisticated the tools get, one aspect remains unchanged: our faith in effective learning. The ideal solutions are those which resonate with individuals—be it a frontline staff learning about safety procedures through a simulation, a student learning intricate concepts through gamified material or a manager upskilling for management through a microlearning course.
In the coming months, I'll be writing more about our journey—the lessons we've gained, behind-the-scenes peeks at significant projects and perspectives on where we believe eLearning is going. My hope is that these thoughts can inspire ideas, provide encouragement or even be a guide for others creating something worthwhile in this arena.
Whether you're an instructional designer, business leader, content creator or fellow entrepreneur considering launching an eLearning business from the ground up, I invite you to join the discussion. I'll be as open as I can be—divulging actual experiences, successes and failures included and what it actually takes to build a business with learning at its core.
Learning's future is promising, but changing rapidly. And together, we can envision what that future might be like—how we can make learning smarter, more inclusive and more effective.
Let's uncover the future of learning together. Because when learning flourishes, people grow, teams succeed and organizations thrive.
