More Than a Reading: Intuitive Guidance Through Cards, Astrology & Energy

Sometimes, we don’t need someone to tell us what to do.

We just need a little help seeing what we already know.

That’s where an intuitive reading can come in.

I’m Ivy Rose, a holistic life coach, Reiki Master, and intuitive reader. My readings are a combination of intuition, symbolism, energy, and the tools I’ve gathered throughout my years of working in holistic and metaphysical practices.

At the heart of my readings are oracle cards and my unique Trinket Toss Oracle. You get to choose which experience feels right for you, and from there, the reading can unfold in whatever direction the energy and conversation take us.

My oracle readings are similar to tarot readings, but they offer their own style of intuitive guidance. The Trinket Toss Oracle is a little different and much more hands-on. Rather than simply drawing cards, you interact with a collection of meaningful trinkets and objects as part of the reading. Sometimes the smallest object can open the door to a surprisingly big conversation.

Readings typically take about 15 to 20 minutes, although they may run a bit longer depending on the person and the topic.

And no two readings are exactly alike.

Some are fun and playful. Some are thought-provoking. Some leave you looking at a situation from an entirely different perspective. And, every once in a while, we get to the kind of truth that requires tissues.

More Than Cards

While oracle cards or Trinket Toss are at the center of my readings, I don’t believe intuition has to fit neatly into one box.

Depending on the person and what comes up during a session, I may incorporate other aspects of my experience to add another layer of meaning.

Astrology, for example, can provide additional insight into personality, patterns, relationships, motivations, strengths, challenges, and the different energies that make up who we are. If astrology is relevant to your question or your reading, we can look at your birth chart and use that information to deepen the conversation.

Pendulum work can also become part of a reading. A pendulum can offer another intuitive tool to explore a question, confirm a feeling, or simply add another dimension to the experience. I approach it with curiosity rather than treating it as an absolute answer machine. Sometimes the most interesting part isn’t the answer—it’s the question that led us there.

My background as a holistic life coach also influences the way I approach readings. I’m not interested in simply handing someone a prediction and sending them on their way. Sometimes what comes through in a reading is less about what will happen and more about what you’re experiencing right now, what patterns you may be repeating, or what possibilities you may not have considered.

And as a Reiki Master, I bring an understanding of energy into my intuitive practice as well. Energy, emotion, intuition, and personal experience can all intersect, and sometimes recognizing those connections can provide a deeper perspective.

These elements aren’t separate boxes on a menu. They are pieces of the larger intuitive experience I offer.

An Experience That Is Uniquely Yours

I believe readings should be personal.

You might come with a very specific question. You might have absolutely no idea what you want to ask. You might be going through a transition and simply want to see what comes up.

There’s no requirement to have everything figured out before you sit down with me.

As we work through the cards or trinkets, I may get intuitive impressions, thoughts, words, or feelings that seem connected to what you’re asking about. Sometimes they make immediate sense. Sometimes they lead us into a conversation that reveals something you hadn’t considered before. And sometimes, the connection doesn’t become clear until later.

That’s part of what makes an intuitive reading so interesting.

Sometimes the message is exactly what you hoped to hear.

Sometimes it isn’t.

And sometimes it’s something you weren’t expecting at all.

Readings for Events

I offer intuitive readings for events, festivals, parties, markets, and other gatherings. They’re a fun way to give guests something a little different to experience—whether they’re longtime believers in intuitive practices or simply curious enough to see what happens.

For events, I can also tailor my appearance to fit the atmosphere. If you’re looking for something mystical and theatrical, I can arrive as a witchy fortune teller. If your event calls for something more understated, I can keep my look simple and approachable.

The goal is to make the experience fit your event while still giving guests a memorable and personal interaction.
