1. Happy Fluff Comics by Akshara Ashok

You ever see the show Girls? Raw realism and cringe truths about female problems. This woman en-captures that perfectly. She makes relatable humorous comics of dealing with dating scene and all those awkward moments. She does numerous comics about the pains of periods. Trivial and annoying things that happen to women, she tells perfectly. But besides the comedic comics she has done. The part of her comics that had me connected, was her personal confessions through her comics that talk about body issues or depression. It's hard to explain to someone what exactly is happening. She's gone on to explain her mental health problems with and how hard it was to have someone understand. As someone who has struggled with having the voice to convey what has drained my brain from all forms of mental health as well, I found comfort in that. She's advocating self-love one little comic at a time.

2. Planet Prudence

This lovely lady draws a plethora of different important topics. I have to say it, I love the way she draws herself, showing a real woman with imperfections. She is the voice in my opinion for body positivity. Not only that but I love how she isn't afraid to address any serious topic, an absolute gem, and a positive feminist I stand by. One of my favorite reoccurring segment she does is the Expectation vs. Reality. Showcasing body differences, relationship realness, or emotional connections in terms of mental health. She shows a vulnerable side to herself that shows how passionate she is about a change in a cruel world and to take care of ourselves.

3. threeundertherain

It's all about the little things, and that's what this artist does as she makes personal comics about the life she shares with her boyfriend and their dog. It's refreshing to see a personal illustration about a simple intimate part of life that she shows in comic form with the world. Relationships are built on the small moments to share with another human being and I love that. The comics about cute dates, close moments, the inner intimate thoughts, and all the lovely moments. Now that is life goals.

4.daniellepioliart

This illustrator I discovered recently. I have loved the positive messages she has throughout her artistic work. To see that she’s used art to convey her positive messages of her manifest. To be able to combine what she stands for and interpret it. Anytime I see a new piece of a positive picture. My day has been made and enlightened with positive vibes anytime I see an update from this artist.

5. Amanda Oleander

I saved the best for last, I could spend hours looking at her artistic pieces. She has made a plethora of thought provoking masterpieces, created to many interpretations to the viewer. All of the pieces have a personal touch from what she has gone through in her strives to be a artist. To the idea that it’s OK to be different. That we have to take care of ourselves and each other. She has created the types of visually striking artwork to showcase the message and uniqueness. I wouldn’t surprise me if this woman ends up having a entire hall in a museum of her artwork.

All of these lovely women have shared their stories in art form. Baring their souls in visual form. They have shared their journey through the rough patches. They have become an inspiration and an influence in the new generation.
