Maybe your story is great but your title is not flashy

This is one of the biggest reasons people don't read your stories and once again it's a reality among writers.

Truth be told, unflattering headlines can be the cause of people not reading your stories.

Before the person arrives at your story, they will have the first contact with your title the title is what makes someone click on a story to read it, it's how it works on YouTube, you often open a video because of the Thumbnail, the content on the Thumbnail catches your attention and you click but have you noticed that you haven't even read the title of the video?

Here at Vocal, the title is your thumbnail, I even wrote a story about the photographs for your stories, if you want to take a look at it, read here.

I can say that the title gets to be more important than the story, the title is responsible for the CTR (Click Through Rate), so if people will read your story it is thanks to the title so consider what I write and do your best on it.

It's not easy to choose a good title but it's not that difficult either, sometimes you need to be bold, like clickbait but it's not clickbait, sometimes you need to be obvious, if you're going to talk about oranges, put ''oranges'' sometimes this simplicity will be the key to getting people to read what you write.

Considerable tips

I will not tire of advising that it is always good to analyze the work of others not to plagiarize but to get inspired, they are different things and Vocal does not accept plagiarism, read more in Terms of Use, analyze the work of others to make you aware of a superficial way the mindset of these creators, when I mean superficial is thinking about the people who maybe couldn't go deeper in their analyses, as long as they take the basics to implement in their stories, this is already very good.

The structuring of a story is super important too, you must know how to structure the levels of your writing, like in a movie, some calm moments and moments cause more tension, but this is a topic for the next story...

What interests us are the titles, think with me, what would make you click on another creator's story? We already know it's the title, but the titles you put in your stories if you were someone else would you click on your story?

Think with me, how would you make a text about orange flashy?

Okay, how I mentioned above that sometimes being obvious works and when does not it work?

You can always think of people who possibly love oranges by making a headline: Why are oranges so good? Why are oranges orange? Why is orange the name of the fruit? or you could even reverse this by writing: Why is the name of the colour the name of the fruit?

I even found these examples about oranges funny, I love oranges.

Use these examples, go testing and do not forget something, besides creating good titles, care for your stories, write something that if it was another creator's story you would love to read, whenever I write I think so if this story wasn't written by me, would I love to read?

This will help you to be self-critical and the growth of your writing will be noticed by your readership community.

Do not forget, the title is your Thumbnail, people will only read your stories through the title, be passionate about writing and express it in your stories, be bold and daring but above all, be creative and you already know the rest, hugs!
