Seeing double! Livvy Dunne and Olivia Ponton slipped into matching swimsuits for a few fun videos inspired by Baywatch. The iconic 1990s television hit followed the professional and personal lives of lifeguards on duty, and is now enjoying a major comeback with Fox's reboot currently in production.

In one Instagram video, the 23-year-old former LSU gymnast, cast as Grace in the Baywatch spinoff, teaches her fellow TikTok star, 24, how to nail the perfect slow-motion run made famous by Pamela Anderson, who starred as C.J. Parker in the original show.

The Tutorial

Instead of wearing the classic, high-cut red swimsuit iconically sported by Anderson's character alongside her Baywatch co-stars Yasmine Bleeth and Carmen Electra in the 1990s, Dunne and Ponton wore black-and-white striped one-pieces by Vuori Clothing for the playful videos.

"Today I'm here with Ms. Livvy Dunne. She's a Baywatch baddie if you didn't know," Ponton introduces the clip alongside the retired college gymnast on the beach. "She's going to teach me how to do the sexy, on-the-beach strut... because I need that."

Dunne then begins the tutorial with a three-step breakdown. "One, fluff up your hair. Get it on point," she says as she runs her fingers through her blonde hair. "Two, fluff up what you got. Get it on point," she says as she gives her bust a quick lift in her swimsuit. "Three, mog and run," she says of the humorous Internet slang term, which according to Merriam-Webster, means to "outshine, outclass or look physically superior to someone else, making them appear smaller or less attractive by comparison." Dunne and Ponton then give the strut their best attempts while following the step-by-step tutorial.

Twinning on TikTok

In a TikTok shared by Dunne, she calls attention to looking near-identical to Ponton, standing beside each other in their matching swimsuits and beach-blonde hair. They mouth the lyrics, "Me and my broski are twins, but we don't look alike," to the popular song, "Gyalchester," by Drake. Meanwhile, the text on screen reads: "Me and my broski are twins but we do look alike."

Baywatch will mark Dunne's acting debut, a career move she teased to PEOPLE exclusively at the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit launch party in May 2025. She opened up about it further during Super Bowl week this past February. "One thing people would be surprised about is that I take acting lessons and I really love it," Dunne told PEOPLE. "It's something I've been passionate about for quite some time. I was interested in doing that at LSU."

"But sports are your top priority when you're a student-athlete at school; school and sports, but really gymnastics was my main focus," she continued at the time, adding, "And now that I'm done with school, I have more time to lean into the acting stuff and the creative side of things."

In the series, Dunne will portray Grace, a "highly enthusiastic junior lifeguard," Deadline reported. The original series debuted in 1989 and ran for 11 seasons, starring David Hasselhoff as Mitch Buchannon, Electra as Lani McKenzie, and Anderson as C.J. Parker. It also featured Michael Newman as Michael "Newmie" Newman, Alexandra Paul as lifeguard Stephanie Holden, Nicole Eggert as Roberta "Summer" Quinn, and Jeremy Jackson as Mitch Buchannon's young son, Hobie.

The reboot was first announced in September 2025, and will include Stephen Amell in the lead role of Hobie Buchannon, Shay Mitchell as Trina, a former lawyer who left a successful firm to be a full-time lifeguard, and David Chokachi returning to the franchise in his original role of Cody Madison. The reboot series is slated to premiere in January 2027 on Fox.

Dunne's transition from gymnastics to acting is an exciting new chapter in her career. Her dedication to the craft, combined with her natural charisma and social media savvy, positions her as a rising star in Hollywood. With her Baywatch debut on the horizon, fans are eager to see what she brings to the iconic franchise.
