Now the first time I heard about Lion's Mane was probably about a year and half ago. I had never come across the name, apart from an actual lion's mane, which probably most of you are familar with. But these little wonders have gained heaps of attention in probably the past year or so by natural enthusiasts. And it's no surprise that I want to talk to you about these mushrooms. Yes, they are mushrooms and I've got to get that across right away.

How it got it's name and why its important

Lion's Mane is a mushroom, believe it or not. It gets its name because of how it looks. It's gorgeous creamy texture is soft when you feel it first, and its almost like a soft pom pom and it's delicate too.

But what I didn't know was that this mushroom may help you out when it comes to anxiety or depression. Now I'm not exaggerating when I say some people I personally know have tried this mushroom not raw but as in a powder form capsule and its worked.

But what else does it do...

This mushroom may help the brain in alot more ways that explains why people who take this are genuinely a lot calmer. I'm telling you because I've noticed a difference.

Hearing people rave about its benefits only made me more curious about this strange mushroom that sounds like your going to eat an actual lion's mane. However, I haven't given it a try, but some say it's 'lifechanging,'

When it comes to natural products I'm all for it, but you have to back up your claims with actual real life experience, right? Otherwise, what's the point.

Why it's a trend that might stay on for a long time!

Personally, I think Gen Z (I'm a millenial btw) might be interested in taking natural healing products, this is because we live in a fast paced world. We do want immediate gratification, now if you've studied sociology you'd know where I'm coming from here. We want remedies that work. We want fast healing but in a way that doesn't cause problems in our body. I get it, because millenials are just the same. We're much cooler and have an eye for that 90's fashion, you won't ever understand Gen Z babies! Anyway, the point being is that I tend to graviatate to products that say 'natural' 'no aluminuim' 'no binders or fillers'.

But why might you be hooked on this trend I hear you ask? Well, because it's natural, particularly if you take it in a vegan capsule form, there's nothing artificial. And the best bit, you know what you're putting in your body. Always read the packaging.

It's not goodbye from here

Personally, for me I think it's something I would like to try. Maybe in my tea, as a powder possibly. And only because its natural. In ayurveda every body is different and every body reacts differently to what you take. So I think being more mindful can help you make the right choices.

Natural healing is beautiful. But it takes time and a lot of effort. This is not a promotional post, it's just my opinion on what I think lion's mane is. I don't want to write a long list of benefits because I don't know if they work, so no point. But it's worth the effort and I just wanted to get this out there so someone can benefit from this post.

Mindful breathing and heal from within naturally...
