Joey Raimondi is an entertainer who began hosting and organizing live events as a teenager. His journey in the industry allowed him to perform in various creative projects in both film and music all across the country. Joey's passion and ambition inspired him to start the Ultimate Platform - a digital Hollywood community where members can upload/share their own original content while receiving favorable royalties, network with others to collaborate and/or pitch projects, and even host and attend live industry events (Film Festivals, Casting Calls, Workshops, Premieres, and private screenings). The Ultimate Podcast is a show where all artists have the opportunity to not only promote their own talents and projects, but to also share their stories to our ULTIMATE Community. We believe that every artist has a story that the world deserves to hear, and our mission is to connect these talented onscreen and offscreen artists with others in the industry hoping for them to create original content for the world to enjoy.

What inspired you to create Ultimate?
Joey Raimondi:
If I had to choose one word to describe what actually inspired me, I would use the word "Dream". The last time I went out to Hollywood, CA, I couldn't help but notice ALL of the names on the Walk Of Fame that AREN'T there. How much talent was overlooked, and why? In today's world of commercially-branded adaptations and remakes, we see such a lack of will by the powers that be to just take a chance, when talented up and coming artists are chancing it all. Since I was a kid, my dream was always to be a working professional in the entertainment industry. Today, my dream has outgrown my own self interests and developed into creating opportunities for others to Dream Big.
Tammy Reese:
What does being an multi talented Creator like yourself means to you?
Joey Raimondi:
For me, being a creator means taking on responsibilities. Whether I'm creating a live event, a podcast episode, or even a screenplay, I firmly believe that it is our universal duty, as creators, to hold ourselves accountable to at least try to fulfill the vision of our creation. It WILL have an impact to someone, somewhere, in some important way.
Tammy Reese:
How has the pandemic shaped your day to day life?
Joey Raimondi:
The only way the pandemic has shaped my day to day life is that it has provided me with even more of a sense of urgency. We began constructing the platform a year ago to address the need for a more solid streaming community for (indie) filmmakers. With the theatrical box office severely struggling, and production companies trying to maneuver around the new guidelines to maintain safety on set, entertainers and fans have expressed that COVID has only amplified the need for the ULTIMATE Platform. We launch this Fall of 2020, and we are strictly focused on our mission to best serve the filmmaking community.

What are some memorable moments in your career so far?
Joey Raimondi:
The most memorable moments in my career are those in which I have failed.

What's next for you?
Joey Raimondi:
Our attention as been on the development and completion of the ULTIMATE Platform for our launch this Fall. Once we receive feedback from members and implement their ideas to optimize the operations and efficiency of our streaming service, we will expand to producing our own original content.
Tammy Reese:
What advice would you have for anyone wanting to begin an podcast?
Joey Raimondi:
The best advice I could give anyone, wanting to start a podcast or anything for that matter, is to just start it. Your dream will not come to fruition unless you take action and just do it. Don't worry about how everything will come together, just do one thing that needs to be done and move on to the next. Before you know it, you'll be building and actually living your dream. So #dreamBIG!

Sabotage
Lately I’ve been in a funk where everything can be going right. You know I’m in a happy place talking to who knows, I’m at peace and feel like everything is just going great you know. But once I start seeing that everything is going great for some reason I need to sabotage it. I need to sabotage my happiness and what I have going on in my life so no one else is able to do it for me. Does that make sense? Am I the only one who gets this way?

First Starlight of Summer
Your whole being is constituted by yearning. You miss the stars but have never seen a fully-realized night sky sparkle to life before your eyes. You write things, funny but short but profound, emulating the archaic cosmos that turns by its own unknowable calculus emulating love in all its celestial glory turning in that same cryptic way, but fully know neither and hardly know both, and it feels disingenuous, so you write about writers. It feels vaguely masturbatory, but it’s funny but short but profound and it impresses the people around you enough, so you run with it forever until you can’t anymore.
