In studying, for the CompTIA exam, she had to figure out some way to help memorize the questions; and answers, so; she decided to create her classroom to help her study without having to rummage through papers. It helps to have something that works for you when it comes to memorizing things you need to know for the upcoming test. Although, you may want to keep looking at the information even after you pass the test because it changes every day. We see it every day somewhere in the world there is a Cyber Security attack. It does not matter what type of person or company the hackers are not worried about who they steal from because they are out to cause harm. You eventually have to become better than the hacker. Learning how to figure out what the hackers are doing is the best part of it all.

Learning about Cyber Security has opened her eyes to the possibilities out there in the world. She learned various things about computers that she did not know about when starting the class. Cyber Security will be needed for years to come as long as people use computers. We use computers for everything these days, and your phones are also used as a computer to surf the web, pay bills, purchase things on the internet. Having a two-factor authentication for all of your devices helps everyone uses biometric authentication, facial recognition, pin, password, or fingerprint to unlock your devices. Of course, we use all these devices in public places. Many people do not have the security layers protecting their information from the people that may try to steal your information. Most of our devices have a global position system used to find the geolocation of any devices have the location ability turned on.

Cyber Security did not mean that much to her starting the class because she did not know much about it. There are ways to secure your devices by configuring your device by disabling unused features, managing encryption, using strong authentication, and enabling loss or theft services on your mobile devices. The Cyber Security field is growing, and hackers are looking for more ways to steal information. In reading about the Internet of Things (IoT), she finds it alarming because the book she is reading states that in the year 2020, there will be over 26 billion IoT devices. What is also is the massive DDoS attacks that happened and caused websites to become disabled because of the massive attacks of a major; domain name service (DNS). So here are some interesting facts that she has learned in this journey of Cyber Security. Of course, there is always more to come in this journey of learning and finding out the passion; she has found in helping by becoming a Cyber Security Technology Associate.

The more you learn throughout the years, the better you become in all that you do in your life. You have to be passionate about the field you want to go in because life is not always lovable. Unless you work for yourself, you will always have a boss to report to every day. Everyone reaches the point in their life where they want to be free to do things they love to do besides working all the time. Your life is too short to be doing just one random thing all the time. You have to reach out of your comfort zone and find what you are passionate about doing for the rest of your life. Find your passion in life and see it through, even if it is more than one passion.

Until next time.

https://rentacomputers.com/internet-of-things.php The Internet of Things (IoT) is a set of technologies that establish connectivity with interrelated computing devices, and mechanical and digital machines that measure environmental parameters, generate associated data, and transmit them through a communications network. Connecting all digital objects and IT products, and adding sensors to them provides digital intelligence to devices enabling them to communicate in real time. The Internet of Things (IoT) is mainly used for devices that don’t usually have an internet connection and can communicate and transfer data from the network independently.
