How to Earn $150/Hour with Google News

I’m obsessed with YouTube, when I’m not writing, meditating, praying, or exercising, I watch YouTube. The content that the popular YouTubers post intrigues me, especially in the ‘Make money online’ niche.

There are several high-profile YouTubers who teach their viewers how to make money online. One of the biggest make-money gurus is Ryan Hildreth. His channel is well presented and most of his content keeps you engaged. In fact, if you are new to making money online, you will spend hours binge-watching his videos.

Most of the content he produces gets rehashed by smaller YouTubers, in one of his videos titled:

“Earn $150 per hour with Google Articles” Ryan advises his viewers to steal articles from Google News and copy and paste them into an article spinning website called Spin Bot.

The next step is to sign up to platforms like SEO Clerks, Fiverr and Freelancer.com to apply for work using these spun articles to apply for content writing work.

Honestly, people shouldn’t be advising anyone to use spinning software to pass off content as their own to apply for work.

If you really want to use Google News as a resource to make money online, you should avoid this method completely.

Here’s a better way:

1. Use Google News to find trending news topics
2. Write commentary pieces about specific topics
3. Create TikTok videos about trending news topics
4. Create YouTube videos about trending news topics
5. Write curated news content — write articles listing the latest news with a short commentary for each news story.

Creators such as Monique fron Journey with the Hintons utilize the power of Google News to find trending topics that fit her target audience. For example, Monique made more than $14,000 from one video that is based on a news story that she found on Google News.

I personally have a news blog however, I am definitely not making $150 an hour at the moment. I am sure I can grow the blog to a $1000 daily earner but it’s not quite there yet.

The truth is, there are many videos on YouTube that mislead their viewers into thinking that they can make thousands of dollars using unscrupulous methods that could probably get your accounts on these freelancing websites banned.

Some YouTubers even encourage their viewers to spin content and send them to online magazines that pay per post. Don’t do it! You might just ruin your reputation as a legitimate writer forever.

Here are some other options to make money from content that you find online.

Note: I'm not telling you to copy other people's content. This is the worst thing you could do. I'm encouraging you to find stories that you can use to create commentary pieces.

One of the best ways of doing this is to focus on trending topics 50% of the time, and evergreen content for the rest.

Here's an example of a trending topic:

"Rev. Ike dies age 74, here are ten lessons we can learn from him"

This is a timely piece however, with the addition of "10 lessons" you can switch this article to an evergreen article.

Another example of a trending topic is:

"Will Smith Slapped Chris Rock at the Oscars, should he have been prosecuted?"

Here's an example of an evergreen topic:

"10 Mental Health Benefits of Eating Avocados according to a recent study"

Although this title mentions "recent study" it's still an evergreen piece because people will continue searching for the health benefits of avocados for years to come.

👉Instagram

👉Pinterest (to promote your content)

👉Many Stories to promote your content

Monetize your content in the following ways:

✅ Affiliate links

✅ Digital products

✅ Brand sponsorships

✅ Print on Demand

You see, there are plenty of ways to make money on the Internet, you just have to dig deep. This is one of the ways, and honestly, it's probably one of the easiest ways to make money on the Internet. One thing you need to remember with this method is that spinning content is not an option. You must create original content from the articles tha you find on Google News.
