No one listened to the children of Gabon, when they reported about the sex abuse within the football leagues. BBC News recently blew the lid of off the sex scandal in their most recent report. The abuse which took place for 20-30 years in Gabon.

The allegations of sexual abuse in the central African country of Gabon date back to the 1990's.

Sadly this isn't the only country in Africa with rampant sex abuse of children boys and girls. African governments are ignoring the rape of girls and boys in many countries in Africa.

It's not only football, it's the church, it's rape by elders, chiefs, parents and even government officials. Children are being sold for sex and there is no one listening.

Child trafficking is nothing new, child sex trafficking for sex is also not new, no one is talking about it and the fact that street children in many African countries are the victims.

African children are being threatened sometimes by the own parents when it comes to rape by the hands of church officials. In many cases families don't want shame, or trouble to come to these African church leaders.

There have been predators using the African continent for years. With roughly about 3000 languages on the continent, not every word translates into another language.

From the Catholic Church to other denominations, regulations of churches in most African countries doesn't exist.

Kenya's new Deputy President decided to make the moronic statement that the government won't regulate churches. He said that they should regulate themselves. He said this after Kenyans cult leader lead thousands to their death, with over 300 bodies recovered and hundreds of people still missing.

President William Ruto himself makes some of the most outlandish religious claims, he told Kenyans that trees won't grow unless you pray over them. He and his wife also told state house employees that they could not bring food, asking them to reframe from eating.

I've written a number of times about a Catholic Church in Kenya where an adult former alter boy told of his story of sexual favors for the priests.

Authors Photo - Kenyan Alter boys 20-years ago

The Kenyan boys in the photo above were offered items as small as a pack of biscuits and 1 single shilling, to "do things" with the priests. This is the wording used by one of the men who is in the photo. He wouldn't use the name of the things they did, because of the shame of homosexuality he repeated over and over again, I didn't do it, I wouldn't let them.

He was an alter boy for many years, he was also one child in a family of 12 children. They were very poor, their father one day decided to leave their mother and start another family. A common practice in Kenya because of polygamy, many men don't take care of all their wives and abandon them to move onto another woman.

In The Name of Jesus: Malawians Defend old White Catholic Man Charged with Molestation in Ireland

Aidan Clohessy, 82-year-old, in October of 2022 was facing 9 charges of indecent sexual assault on special needs children he was working with. These charges were filed in a Blackrock, Ireland.

His arrest was originally in 2018, however in-mid-April 2023, Malawians are now being informed that the courts are looking for those who may have been a victim of Aidan Clohessy in Malawi.

The man goes by the name of Brother Aidan, Aidan Closhessy’s trial isn’t until 2024. However he worked within Malawi between 1993 and 2012. A news outlet posted in Malawi asking for anyone who had been “mistreated or paid to do things” for Brother Aidan that they should come forward.

Malawians got very angry and all took to social media to proclaim that Brother Aidan was innocent. However he picked boys who were slower, intellectually disabled or physically diabled these Malawians can's speak for all the children that came into contact with Brother Aiden.

The world will never know how many boys were victims in Gabon, also no one will know all the men involved. The rooms were dark and even with the lights on the boys can never know all the faces. Over the 20–30 years no one can even obtain DNA evidence, in order to find all the men who raped these children.

Sadly it's not the only scandal waiting to be reported, the rug has never been pulled from under the Catholic Church. I know that there have been many in African countries that have been victims of Catholic priests.

Because of fear and homophobia many African boys won't ever report about sexual abuse. They're also advised not to tell by their own parents, some won't ever tell another soul in their lives.
