“Laziness brings poverty,

Sin brings sorrow.

Hard work brings wealth,

Virtue brings happiness. ”

More than a century and a half ago, Charles Darwin, the proponent of evolution, introduced the theory of the "Evolution of the best." Although his theory applies exclusively to the natural laws of evolution. The history of the rise and fall of human civilization also revolves around the laws of this theory. The more worthy he is in the history of human civilization, the greater his dignity. In the rules of civilization this qualification is determined by the criteria of labor. Survival is not a substitute for hard work in war. It is said that, 'The Survival of the fittest'. Labor is the key to the success and development of life.

Be it personal life or the history of society and civilization : the importance of labor is immense everywhere. At the root of this multifaceted development of the present human civilization lies the tireless work of millions of people throughout the ages. In every moment of life, the personal work of every human being around the world has kept the wheel of society moving as the driving force of the whole world. And this ever-changing society moves civilization forward on the wheels of hard work. History developed. Everything used from birth, visible houses, roads, food, clothing are all acquired in return for labor. All is well in this world except labor. The future of any society or civilization depends on the labor of the people of that society at present.

If the people of a society are not hardworking, then the future of that society can never be bright. As the saying goes ‘Man makes his own destiny’. Labor is the main artisan of making that fortune. Therefore, it can be said without any doubt that labor is the mother of our good fortune - "Industry is the mother of good luck".

• TYPES OF LABOR :

1) PHYSICAL LABOR

2) MENTAL LABOR

These two types of labor are essential for survival in the battle of survival. Working hard on the body is physical labor. Through this type of labor man performs his work by utilizing his physical strength. Almost every human being has to do physical work in life.

On the other hand, mental labor is the name of performing work by using the intellect of the head. In ancient times, when people lived in forests and caves, the basic biological needs of human beings depended mainly on manual labor. However, it is also true that in addition to physical labor, cavemen also had to apply mental labor in their daily lives and livelihoods.

However, like all other wild animals, self-defense and food collection were the main tasks of human beings. That is why physical labor was relatively important to people at that time. However, in the evolution of time, man has brought mechanical changes in his life, has progressed in time with the progress. In the course of this progress of civilization, mental labor gradually became more important to man than physical labor. People began to set one example after another in the special application of mental labor in philosophy, literature, art, science and technology. We shouldn't ignore the saying that ,"Work Smart not Hard" in this generation. However, the importance of physical labor has never diminished. Even today, people have to resort to physical labor to acquire the most basic element of survival in their lives.

• IMPORTANCE OF LABOR :

The tireless work of innumerable people has been at the root of this extreme development of modern civilization since ancient times. In every age, little by little, people have taken civilization forward on the path of progress. Whatever the philosophy, art, literature, science, today's progress has not been achieved in a single day.

Today's success is due to the hard work of human beings in every stage of the rotation of civilization. From the earliest times of human civilization to the present day, labor has contributed to every level. Because we know that society and civilization cannot stand on a weak lazy foundation. From the dawn of civilization, both mental and physical labor has helped to strengthen this foundation.

In this vast world, people are constantly donating labor. This labor is the main controller of human destiny. It is through constant hard work that man builds his own destiny; Secure the future. Moreover, the creative genius of man is developed through constant labor. The society as a whole moves forward on the path of civilization and progress by utilizing these genius potentials of the people of the whole society. That is why human civilization is so advanced today.

Equality in labor status : ~~~

All forms of labor must have equal importance in society. People of different professions around us are engaged in different activities. Every human being continues to apply labor for his livelihood. That labor can be both physical and mental. Some cultivate and provide food, some build houses, roads, some provide medical care, some drive vehicles, etc. All these types of labor are necessary to keep the society active. And without one of them the other cannot be fully fruitful. In the battle of life, each of us is nothing but a worker. That is why every worker must learn to take us with equal importance. Therefore, it can be said without any doubt that the importance of all types of labor in daily life is immense.

• LABOR AVERSION :

There are some ignorant people who are learning to understand the value and dignity of labor but they are lazy, averse to labor, fatalistic. This laziness leads to failure in every step of their lives. And this personal failure of man appears as an obstacle to progress in society. Just as a person's personal success is an indicator of the progress of the whole society, so too personal failure is an indicator of the misery of the society. So a lazy laborer is not only his own life's but also a curse for the society.

Hard work and success, work in proportion to each other. Just as the prey does not come to the hunter by itself, so success can never be achieved without hard work. The idea of success without hard work is also indicative of laziness. Therefore, everyone should be aware of the fact that we should never introduce this cruel tendency towards the society and towards ourselves. We all need to remember that destiny does not leave any priceless wealth in anyone's hands. Wealth or success never comes by itself. One has to achieve it through indomitable will, relentless hard work and struggle. It is said that if you do something, you must enjoy its fruits. In the same way, hard work also brings success by itself.

Flowers will bloom at every step as long as the foot moves as a tool of action in the path of civilization running on the chest of this earth. And if that is not the case, then we have to live a miserable life by blaming fate. Because the lazy person always introduces the adversity theory of fate to hide his own failure. But the inescapable truth that hard work is the supreme controller of destiny remains elusive to the laborless people.

No matter what is said about labor, it is not enough about its importance in the world. Therefore, it is relatively easy to discuss the importance of personal labor in human life. Labor awakens our latent talents and potentials. By embracing that possibility, people cross the barrier of the age with the civilization and society on their shoulders.

Whether it is human civilization or science and technology, or education, literature and culture, everything is relentless labor. Tireless labor and long perseverance give people the gift of progress as a crop of civilization. That is why working people are entitled to ultimate success in life. Above all, the work ethic of people from all walks of life has made people the best creatures in the world today.

Through the difficult experience of long struggling life, people have realized the value and dignity of labor as a whole. By establishing Bhagya Lakshmi by utilizing these values, human civilization has become successful today. Before the reward there must be labor. You plant before you harvest. You sow in tears before you reap joy. What does labor want??? ~~~It wants more schoolhouses and less jails; more books and less arsenals; more learning and less vice; more leisure and less greed; more justice and less revenge; in fact, more of the opportunities to cultivate our better natures.

**Labor is prior to, and independent of, capital. Capital is only the fruit of labor, and could never have existed if labor had not first existed. Labor is the superior of capital, and deserves much the higher considerations.**
