If you have children in the home, keeping pets is a necessity. One pet can bring love and joy to your life; you won't believe how many times people get hurt when they forget their child is with them while they're handling animals. The problem lies in the fact that many people do not know how to properly take care of any type of animal, no matter what it is.

American Pit Bull Terrier

The American Pit Bull Terrier is a naturally protective dog. He is loyal and protective of his family and friends, but he can be aggressive towards strangers or other animals. This breed has been known to be used in dog fighting and is considered one of the most dangerous breeds in America.

The APBT's origins are unclear, but they were reportedly bred in the early 1900s. They were used as fighting dogs by some people as well as being bred for their looks. The APBT was originally known as the American Staffordshire Terrier because of its strong resemblance to that breed.

American Pit Bull Terriers have a very short coat that comes in black, brown, red or white colors. Their ears will stand up when they are excited or alert; however, some may droop if they are not feeling well or are tired from playing games with their owners!

Rottweiler

Rottweiler

The Rottweiler is a large, powerful dog with a very solid build. This breed has a double coat that can be either smooth or rough in texture, depending on the type of coat your dog has. The Rottweiler has been used for hunting since its introduction to Germany, and it was known as the "Boarhound" during that time.

Rottweilers have an average lifespan of about 10 years, but many live much longer than that. If you're looking for a loyal companion that's ready to stick by your side for years, this is the breed for you.

German Shepherd

Germans are known for their intelligence, courage and loyalty. The German Shepherd is a versatile breed that was originally used by farmers to herd livestock. They are great with kids and pets, but should be watched around both.

Great Dane

The Great Dane is a large dog that can weigh anywhere between 120 to 180 pounds. They were originally used in hunting deer, but they are now more commonly found as family dogs or companions. They do not get along well with other dogs (including their own kind), so consider getting a small dog instead!

Chow Chow

The Chow Chow is a large Chinese mastiff that originated in China during the late 1800s. This dog has an intimidating appearance with its erect ears and long tail which makes them look like they have bat wings attached to their backs. They can be difficult to train, but if trained properly they make excellent guard dogs because of their aggressive nature towards strangers and other animals (especially cats).

Dobermann

Doberman pinscher

The Doberman pinscher is a medium-sized, powerfully built dog with a square muzzle and erect ears. Its coat is short and glossy, with a dense undercoat. Its eyes are dark brown or black with yellow to amber irises, and its nose is black. The most distinctive feature of the breed is its long hair around the neck, which hangs down from the muzzle like a beard. Dobermans have been known to kill small children when not supervised by an adult.

In addition to being aggressive towards humans and other dogs, this breed can be easily provoked into attacking people who try to pet them, especially in public places such as parks and shopping centers where they are expected to be restrained by their owners. They have also been known to attack other animals, especially cats.
