Brandi Carlile Reschedules UK and Europe Tour Dates Due to "Personal Circumstances"
The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter's Human Tour will now cross the pond in spring 2027, with the artist promising to "make it up to" fans who have been waiting to see her live.

Fans in the U.K. and Europe will have to wait a bit longer to see Brandi Carlile. In an Instagram post shared on Friday, Aug. 7, the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter, 45, took to social media and announced she's rescheduling the U.K. and Europe dates of her Human Tour.
"I need to let you know that due to personal circumstances, I have no choice but to reschedule my UK and European tour from this fall to the spring," began Carlile. She explained, "I have been so profoundly anxious about this decision, and I'm aware that this change may be disappointing and inconvenient for many of you, especially those of you who were planning on traveling internationally, but I am hoping this gives you all enough time to adjust any plans."
The Logistics Behind the Change
Carlile's team has been working diligently behind the scenes to minimize disruption, though some changes have been unavoidable. "My team has been working really hard behind the scenes to reschedule the tour with as little disruption as possible," added Carlile, noting that certain venues have changed and multiple dates have been added to the tour.
However, the musician was unable to reschedule one performance in Lisbon. "I'm so sorry, and I promise we will do everything in our power to get back to you as soon as we can," she informed fans.
The U.K. and Europe leg of the Human Tour, initially set to occur in October and November, will now take place in March and April of 2027. Updated dates are available on Carlile's website, and those who wish to receive refunds can contact their ticket provider.
A Personal Message to Fans
Carlile's announcement was characteristically heartfelt, reflecting her deep connection with her audience. "Thank you so much for your patience and understanding," she wrote. "I want nothing more than to see my friends across the pond and I have done everything in my power to avoid rescheduling this tour."
"I sincerely hope you'll all come back and see me in the spring. I promise I will make it up to you and that it will be worth the wait!"
The singer has been performing for over two decades and has built a reputation for her candid, emotional connection with her fans. Her statement reflects that bond, acknowledging the disappointment while offering reassurance.
The Human Tour So Far
Carlile kicked off the Human Tour in February with a North American leg, and she's currently in the midst of another string of U.S. concerts that runs through September. The tour supports her latest album, Returning to Myself, which was released in October 2025.
The album, which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, has been praised for its emotional depth and Carlile's signature blend of folk, rock, and country influences. It marked a return to form for the artist, who has spent the past few years expanding her musical horizons while staying true to her roots.
Carlile's ability to connect with audiences through her music has made her one of the most respected artists of her generation. Her live performances are known for their intimacy and power, drawing fans from around the world.
A Career of Milestones
The Human Tour is just the latest milestone in Carlile's remarkable career. A six-time Grammy winner, she has become a leading voice in the Americana and folk music scenes, known for her powerful vocals and deeply personal songwriting.
In February of this year, Carlile performed "America the Beautiful" at Super Bowl LX, a performance that was widely praised. She has also been an outspoken advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, mental health awareness, and social justice, using her platform to amplify important causes.
The Promise of Spring
While the postponement is undoubtedly disappointing for fans who were looking forward to seeing Carlile this fall, the promise of a spring tour offers something to look forward to. The rescheduled dates will allow the singer to be in top form and deliver performances that live up to her reputation.
Carlile's message to her fans was one of hope and appreciation, a reminder that the connection between artist and audience is built on more than just a concert date. As she wrote, "I want nothing more than to see my friends across the pond."
