No one took it better than actress and comedian Betty White when she was awarded the Guinness Book of World Records in 2014 for the longest work on television. White set a record in the women’s category with her impressive 80s, beating the longest career in the men’s industry.

Betty White is best known for her role as Sue Ann Nivens in The Mary Tyler Moore Show and Rose Nylund in The Golden Girls. In 1996, appearing in the John Larroquette Show as a fellow, White received an Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in the Comedy Series.

She is best known for her role in popular films, including Northwest Waterfront, and Eva Marie Saint won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her roles there. In 2014, she played a small role in "A Winter's Tale," when the character turned 100.

She appeared in many radio programs in the 1940s and first appeared on television in 1949, starring in the Mary Tyler Moore Show. At the same time, she started acting in her first Emmy-winning comedy series The Life of Elizabeth, and co-produced it, making her one of the few female producers in Hollywood.
