There are some great free audible books out there - but you have to be careful about the quality of them. The best free audible books are those that have a lot of reviews and ratings, or those that are written by authors who have been around for a while.

There are many ways to get free audible books, so this list is only a small fraction of what's out there. Here are some sites that offer free audiobooks:

Audible (www.audible.com) - The best-known site for free audio books, and also one of the most comprehensive, with over 150,000 titles from publishers like Random House and HarperCollins. The site has a "Love" section with romance, mystery and other genres as well as self-help. Audible offers a monthly newsletter with recommendations, which are also available online if you sign up for the service.

OverDrive (www.overdrive.com) - This company has more than 1 million e-books available to borrow digitally or on CD or cassette tape in libraries nationwide. It also offers more than 100 curated audio files through its "My Library" feature, including readings by such authors as Jane Austen and Charles Dickens.

These are the best free audible books I've listened to, with a bonus "best of" list at the bottom.

I've ordered them by category:

Best Fiction

-The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood (read by Mary Elizabeth Winstead) - This is the classic dystopian novel that inspired Hulu's The Handmaid's Tale TV show. It's not just a great story, but it also has an incredible soundtrack that you can listen to while you're reading it.

-The Martian by Andy Weir (read by R. C. Bray) - This is one of my favorite space stories and an excellent audio book with a great narrator who brings the story to life for you. The only downside is that there are quite a few technical terms in this novel that may not be familiar to those who aren't into science fiction or astronauts (for example, there's a lot of talk about aerodynamics). Still, this is one of my favorites so far!

-The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams (read by Simon Jones) - This one is another classic sci-fi series that has been turned into movies and radio plays over the years. It's a lot more silly than some other sci-fi books out there

The best free audible books are the ones that you can't put down. At the moment, I'm listening to The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. It's one of my favorite books, and it's got me hooked.

The Alchemist is a story about Santiago, a shepherd boy who lives in Spain during the 12th century. He travels to Egypt with his friend Albert to find treasure buried there by a wise man called Ali Baba.

The book is full of adventure, intrigue, and magic; it's one of those books that you can't stop listening to once you start reading it. It's not just an adventure story though; it's also a book about living life on your own terms and following your dreams no matter what others say or think about you.

The audio version of The Alchemist is read by Raul Esparza and he does an amazing job bringing this story to life on audio! You'll find yourself listening to this book for hours at a time!

I love audiobooks. I've been listening to them since the late 90's when I was first introduced to the concept of audio books. I've always been a bit of a bookworm, so it wasn't long before I discovered that there were some really great books out there that could be listened to rather than read.

I think it's safe to say that audiobooks have become quite popular over the last few years and they are becoming more and more common in all areas of life. They are especially popular with people who don't have time to sit down and read because they just don't have time for it (like me).

In this article we're going to take a look at some of my favorite free audible books on Audible (as well as some other great options).

Here are some of my favorite free audible books. These aren’t ranked by how much I like them, but more by how often I listen to them.

To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee

This is one of the most important books in American literature and a must-read for anyone who wants to understand what it means to be an American citizen. It's also a powerful story about race, class, and gender politics.

The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald

This is one of those books that you have to read at least once in your life — or at least listen to the audiobook version. If nothing else, it's an amazing story about tragic love, excess, and an era that seems like ancient history now (but probably wasn't).

If you're looking for a great audiobook, I recommend checking out the following books.

1. The Power of Habit: Why We Do What We Do in Life and Business (and How to Change).

2. Outliers: The Story of Success.

3. F**k Feelings: A Revolutionary Approach to Living in the Present Moment (and Everything Else Too)

4. Mastering Bitcoin: Unlocking Digital Cryptocurrencies (Cryptography Concepts)

Here are the best free audible books:

The Hunger Games Trilogy by Suzanne Collins. This is a series of three books that follows Katniss Everdeen, a girl who lives in the dystopian future of Panem. Throughout the trilogy, Katniss must fight to become the Mockingjay, which is the symbol of rebellion against the Capitol.

The Hobbit by J.R.R Tolkien. If you've seen The Lord of the Rings movies, you know why this is one of my all-time favorite books, but if you haven't read any of Tolkien's works, The Hobbit is a great place to start! It's a standalone prequel to The Lord of the Rings that follows Bilbo Baggins as he tries to recover a stolen ring from Gollum, who has it hidden in his cave on an island called "Middle-earth."

Harry Potter Series by JK Rowling. Harry Potter is one of those rare cases where the main character doesn't have any extraordinary powers or abilities — just good old-fashioned smarts and grit — but he still manages to save the day time and time again while learning important lessons along the way in this series that became an international phenomenon when first released back in 1997.
