Action and Reaction

The Third Law

By NenysiriPublished 4 months ago 5 min read

According to Sir Isaac Newton,

"for every action (force) in nature there is an equal and opposite reaction. If object A exerts a force on object B, object B also exerts an equal and opposite force on object A"

This is the third law of motion in physics. As seen in the law above the motion is direct and does not deviate. It is a law that applies to strictly to science but can also apply to our life situation. This action and reaction happens in our daily life but we often fail to see or acknowledge it. I am speaking on this because has changed the way tend to do things in life and I want to share this knowledge with you.

For a person to be alive he must be in motion and to be in motion you must take action. Looking at the statement made by Sir Isaac Newton he said ,"equal and opposite reaction." Which means that to apply this rule to our daily life means that every action we take will come back to us as an equal and opposite reaction. Absurd isn't it. Let me give an example of what the statement means if applied to our life below ;

For instance if I give charity {action} to an orphanage home what I would get in return {reaction} would be insults.

As we all know that will not be the outcome in a real life situation base on the example above. But it that not withstanding there are other situations that this may apply to e.g.

A guy at 25 who wants to create a successful company so he can spend the rest of his days free of money problems and work . And so he has to put all the stress and work {action} after which the company becomes successful {reaction} . Which means he won't have money problems again.

The above kind of example that only works if you put the right action in the right place in the real world. But as you can see, the action being the stress and work he goes through. The equal and opposite reaction being that he won't have to work again as long as his company is successful. This can take up to 5 to 10 years to do but the major thing is that he put in the action and that gave the reaction.

In the second statement which states that,

"If object A exerts a force on object B, object B also exerts an equal and opposite force on object A"

As seen it means that who ever has take the action will be the person to get the equal and opposite reaction directly . I have used to instances to dispute and agree to this fact. Because this is what that make the whole law hold in Physics always but isn't applicable in real life .

We have to adopt a new rule that has be looking at us. The new rule is as follows,

  • For every action we take there must always be a reaction that is going to occur to us directly or indirectly or may not affect you at all.
  • The reaction we get are not always going to be equal. In life nobody is born with equal circumstances so you should expect an equal reaction others get when you perform the same action.
  • And lastly the reaction will not always be opposite of the action we take.
  • Which means ACTION = REACTION regardless of it being equal , opposite , direct or indirect. An action will always yield a reaction.

To understand the above rules you must have to agree that life is full of uncertainties . But to get the right reaction you want you must do the right action.

During our daily life we all perform activities , right ? These activities are also known as the actions we take. And for each of this action there is a certain reaction that we want to get. For this reason the knowledge of action and reaction is very important. A lot people tend to put the disregard taking action but they want result or reaction. The action we take are what defines us in this world of the live in. For its is true our action that we get what we want. According to Iman Gadzhi ,

"you get what you give"

This can be interpreted as you give {action} and you get {reaction}

Everybody including myself have dreams and goals that they want to achieve in life. I other to get to those goals he/she has to take the right action at the right time . This is my reason for bringing this topic to your screen. The action you must take is already known to you but you can get a reaction until you take the action. And also another quote from the book Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert T. Kiyosaki states that ,

"If you want something you have to give something "

Ask yourself this,

What can I give to get what I want ?

And like all answers it lies within you.
