The good in human is to perform actions in accordance with Virtue to the best of one's abilities.

One swallow does not make a summer; neither does one day. Similarly neither can one day, or a brief space of time, make a human blessed and happy

It is those who act that rightly win the honors and rewards in life.

Theory is the rudimentary philosophy, practice is the advanced work. The philosopher is a veritable warrior of the Mind akin to Hercules himself.

The Doctrine of the Mean: Virtuous activity of the soul is achieved by aiming at the mean.

We shall arrive at the mean by pressing well on our failures, just like somebody straightening out a piece of wood.

Magnanimity: seeing one's own potential in acting in accordance with it.

Contrasting magnanimity is pusillanimity, which leaves one blind to their potential and thus not engaging with the proper activities to achieve said potential.

You may say "but I'm only human". this is the understatement of your life. you are not only human but are Divine potential. Step into the greatness of your.

It is easy to get angry, anyone can do that and so to give and spend money. But to feel and act towards the right person to the right extent at the right time for the right reason in the right way, that is not easy hence to do these things well is a rare and laudable achievement.

Rush people are impetuous, eager before danger arrives but Shifty when it is actually present, where as courageous ones are keen at the time of action but calm beforehand.

We are what we repeatedly do therefore Excellence is not an act but rather a habit.

“If anyone can refute me—show me I’m making a mistake or looking at things from the wrong perspective—I’ll gladly change. It’s the truth I’m after, and the truth never harmed anyone.” – Marcus Aurelius

“You could leave life right now. Let that determine what you do and say and think.” – Marcus Aurelius

“He who fears death will never do anything worthy of a man who is alive.” – Seneca

“This is our big mistake: to think we look forward to death. Most of death is already gone. Whatever time has passed is owned by death.” – Seneca

“Life is very short and anxious for those who forget the past, neglect the present, and fear the future.” – Seneca

“I judge you unfortunate because you have never lived through misfortune. You have passed through life without an opponent—no one can ever know what you are capable of, not even you.” – Seneca
