“It’s not about standing still and becoming safe. If anybody wants to keep creating they have to be about change.” ― Miles Davis

Here is the scenario: life has gotten way too difficult. You’ve experienced a major loss, your inner circle has suddenly shrunk, and as if that wasn’t enough you’re experiencing a series of major challenges, one right after another.

You may feel like the world is against you. Like somehow you ended up on God’s naughty list.

But, fear not. These challenges are not punishments. They are the divine guiding you in a beautiful new direction.

These insurmountable challenges are often signs that your life is about to evolve into something magical.

As someone who has experienced difficulties over the last several months, I’ve become quick about spotting these supernatural signs.

Here are the 5 major signs your breakthrough is near.

1. You’ve experienced a life-changing loss

Perhaps you lost a job, experienced a breakup, or been plagued with financial hardship. Something that forever alters your life has happened, and it has brought you to your knees.

I have experienced a life-changing loss. After years of working for a company, my position was eliminated.

This turned my world upside down and changed what my life looks like. But, I see these events as a means to fulfilling my destiny.

2. Toxic people and places are leaving your life

Out of nowhere, the familiar has disappeared. You may have experienced the end of a difficult friendship, toxic work environment, or divorce.

Despite the end of these stressful situations, you’re left feeling empty and sad, like you’ve just been emotionally run over by a Mack Truck.

For me, job loss meant the end of a toxic work environment and with it, multiple difficult relationships disappeared.

You would think this would be a huge relief, and in the long run, it was. But, initially, it wasn't easy, I was left feeling hurt.

3. You experience a series of challenges

The challenges keep coming. You’ve experienced a life-altering event, people have disappeared from your life, and as if that wasn’t enough, life throws you another curveball, and then another.

When is it going to end?

After losing my job and several relationships, I experienced one difficulty after another. I became ill for nearly a month and my mother faced a series of health challenges. The job search turned up one dead end after another, the list goes on.

But, all the while I knew this series of challenges was a sign of good things to come.

4. You feel an unexplained peace

You would think these seemingly never-ending challenges would leave you feeling dejected, but somehow they don’t.

Despite everything, you begin to feel an overwhelming sense of peace. It doesn’t make sense, but you go with it. That is the divine reassuring you that miracles are on their way.

About a month after this life-altering change I noticed a sense of calm. Despite the challenges, I felt at peace with everything. I knew these bumps in the road were merely stepping stones leading me to fulfill my destiny.

5. Synchronicities are taking place

You begin to experience serendipitous moments in your life. You make an unexpected connection, hear from a long-lost friend, or out of nowhere receive a gift that changes the trajectory of your life. Dr. Joe Despenza explains the experience of synchronicities and serendipitous events:

It’s an alignment between your inner and outer world. The clear signal of emotion, energy, excitement, and surprise from the events is what inspires you to keep accepting, believing, and trusting in a greater outcome — which consequently sharpens your ability to create.

Since losing my job I’ve received unexpected gifts, garnered new friendships, and even had a doctor unexpectedly write off a medical bill. These serendipitous moments are the universe reassuring me that my breakthrough is near.

It truly is the darkest before the dawn. When it rains it pours, but after the storm, you are left with awe-inspiring magic.

If you are experiencing difficulties, take heart. Life is about to change into something beautiful. Notice the signs and dance in delight. Soon you will be walking on air, floating on a cloud, and bursting with joy!

All the best,

Kelley
