The total is mind-boggling and out of this world.

According to Credit Suisse, the value of the world’s money is 173.3 trillion dollars.

The United States’ gross domestic product (GDP) is in the neighborhood of $21 trillion. That’s equivalent to the population of eight US states.

Consider this if you still don’t get it. 83.9 percent of the world’s wealth is owned by the world’s richest 10 percent of the population.

Just one more example of the world’s many inequalities.

Although we’ve made great strides in technology, most people around the world still live in abject poverty, with only a small minority experiencing life to the fullest.

Only 1.4 percent of the world’s wealth is held by those in the bottom half of the wealth pyramid. Equal treatment of two people who work hard but the other does is not possible, so equality cannot be achieved.

Of course, there are other considerations to be made, such as chance, talent, and so on.

If you want to be wealthy, you’ll have to rely on a great deal of luck.

It’s safe to assume that any millionaire agrees.

Consider the multi-billionaires in the information technology sector.

As Amazon demonstrated, it wasn’t because they were smarter or worked harder, but rather because their ideas were aligned with the future of technology or they were able to secure funding before the dot-com bubble burst.

It was impossible to predict when this disaster would occur or what the internet’s long-term future would hold.

Preparation and opportunity, as the saying goes, come together here.

To enjoy the best things in life, you don’t necessarily have to be a multimillionaire. It takes a lot less time than it used to.

Even if it’s your first million-dollar investment, making or saving a million dollars takes work.

The road to success is a long and arduous one. Shortcuts remain a common desire among many people, despite this.

As long as you don’t give up on your dreams of financial freedom, there are a few simple steps you can take to get there.

It’s not clear why we want financial independence. What is the goal of this endeavor?

The answer ought to be self-evident.

It’s not a good idea to live for the sake of money. While it’s enjoyable to play, most people find meaning in their work, raising a happy family, or creating products or services that improve their lives.

As a result, we are striving for financial independence so that we can pursue our interests. With greater efficiency, you’ll be able to make the most of every opportunity that comes your way.

For those of you who want to become financially independent one day, here are the five productivity habits that I follow.

Mental toughness

I once read that life is not about what happens to you, but rather your response. Even though it appears hazy, there is some truth to it. One of the greatest pieces of advice I’ve ever received.

The difference between the successful and the unsuccessful is mental toughness. Rather than giving up and saying, “I don’t feel like it,” a successful person has the mental tenacity to take on difficult tasks.

You’ve probably heard that you need 10,000 hours of practice before you can become an expert at something. You will get bored, tired, and exhausted on your way to becoming a Master in any craft. Those who have the mental fortitude to keep going, no matter what will win.

You can train your mind to be more resilient over time. Every time you go, you’ll have to make a few pit stops.

No, I haven’t seen anyone like that before. For a few months, they experiment with a new strategy. In the end, they give something else a whirl. They try a third item, but it’s too old for them as well, so they give up. It’s a never-ending circle.

Developing an understanding that it’s not what happens around you, but how you perceive it, is what you’re aiming for. In Jordan Peterson’s view, life is a struggle in which you will always be confronted with obstacles. It’s completely out of the ordinary, so anything is possible.

Your job may be on the line. You’re at risk of being evicted.

You’ll be abandoned by loved ones, and you’ll have to fight to keep moving forward in the face of that abandonment.

Become adept at delegating tasks.

When most people realize they can’t go far alone, it’s too late to do anything about it. You have a limited amount of time and energy each day. Your self-mutilation will not be sufficient for more than two people’s work.

Despite this, teams are frequently responsible for major accomplishments.

Apple’s entire design team introduced Jobs to the touch screen, and if it weren’t for them, there would be no iPhone. Apple’s success would not have been possible without Steve Jobs, as we all know.

The problem is that the more you want to accomplish, the larger the team will have to be. You must master the art of delegation if you hope to be successful in your career. It’s best to delegate all non-creative aspects of your project so that you can concentrate on the creative aspects that no one else can do.

Even the creative part of the project can be delegated. Congratulations, then!

You’ve created an incredible business that can function without you. One of the greatest dreams of my life has finally come true. Having reached this level of financial independence is a lifelong goal for most people.

Accepting and utilizing feedback

Everyone enjoys receiving compliments. You enjoy their company and feel special as a result. Praise, on the other hand, doesn’t always help, other than to give you a brief rush of pleasure.

As much as it’s flattering to have people like you, it’s even better when they point out your flaws so you can fix them.

Despite being congratulated, you are not told what to do next.

However, most people are sensitive to criticism and become irate when they are corrected. Consequently, if you want to achieve financial freedom, you must learn to appreciate criticism. Whenever you are being reprimanded, try to remain calm and collected in the future.

Keep your emotions in check and always try to see things from the critic’s point of view when possible.

Self-reliance

However, you cannot rely on others all the time, not because they’re evil but because they have their own lives and responsibilities to take into account.

Because we are inherently emotional beings, human relationships are notoriously difficult to navigate. A single negative event can devastate your friendships, so don’t rely on chance.

Make sure you can walk away from any situation without needing anyone else’s assistance. It’s always possible to rely on yourself.

There’s nothing wrong with spending time by yourself, but everyone should know you can rely on yourself no matter what comes your way. There’s nothing more powerful than this.

Being self-sufficient makes you more attractive to others. Because you exude self-assurance, people flock to be around you.

You can never have too much time in your life.

Because time is such a precious commodity, you must do everything in your power to save it. Time is often misunderstood as money, but it cannot be reclaimed or repurchased. It’s too late for you now! Furthermore, there is no way to alter it.

This is nothing out of the ordinary! As a result, we end up wasting so much time on things we don’t need to be doing. It’s time to set an alarm or change your phone’s wallpaper to remind you that the clock is ticking.

Relaxing on vacation or spending time with loved ones doesn’t mean that you should worry about everything that could go wrong while you’re there.

Even more important than being punctual is simply showing up when you say you will.
