Soon afterward, his father started a new family and relocated to Johannesburg, South Africa, leaving Yanno behind. When his grandmother also passed away, he found himself facing life without the support of the people who had raised him.

Despite these challenges, Yanno was a bright student with dreams of becoming an educated and successful man. However, financial difficulties forced him to leave school before he could achieve those ambitions. While one dream came to an end, another was beginning to grow.
