I have learned more from podcasts than from books. It's kind of surprising hearing that from a person who writes mainly about reading and books. I learn better by listening because I create movies inside my head.

I’ve been writing until now about books & reading, however, I realised that listening to podcasts is another great way to learn and be productive, it’s just a different type of learning. I am using my imagination to create scenes inside my head, the knowledge sticks better this way.

Do you think you learn anything just by listening? Passively listening is not enough. Our goal is to remember and make use of the newly acquired information. In this case, we should take a better, more practical approach to make the knowledge stick.

The photo of me above is from the Republican National Convention in 2016, when the RNC came to my hometown of Cleveland, Ohio. Black Lives Matter was a nascent movement at the time, considered fringe by many. BLM wasn’t a Twitter hashtag, a T-shirt, or a corporate slogan.

Sun TechnologiesPublished 2 years ago in InterviewThe struggle of a lame Wolf
It's a documentary about animals, but I'd rather see it as a struggle for life. He's an African Wolf, and somehow he was born with one leg shorter than the other three. In the dog-eat-dog world, this is a fatal flaw. When the crew found the lame Wolf, it was concluded that he would not survive childhood. Perhaps it was this misfortune that inspired the film team to follow the life of the lame Wolf.
Sacred Awera
In 1492 began an onslaught against the Indigenous People of the Western World. The modern perception of the “ Western World “ is that it is the White World, it isn’t. The real Western World is the Indigenous People that have long occupied these Sacred Lands, the Natives that are as Indigenous to these areas as our mountains, creeks and plants. Like America, Colonization also runs deep in Columbia. In fact, it runs so deep that the name “ Columbia “ is a homage to genocidal murderer Christopher Columbus. Justified by the Church and Spaniard Monarchs, Columbus referenced Manifest Destiny as a means to eradicate Indigenous People or proselytize Indigenous People to create a home for Christianity. It is the largest genocide to ever occur and the one genocide that no one ever wants to discuss. All of the tribes of our lands have distinct tribal cultures with distinct customs but there are also many similarities. One of the biggest similarities is that most tribes had multiple genders before having the Gender Binary forced on us via forced assimilation and colonization.
