The goal of all my reviews will be to give you the skinny and the desire to watch the tv shows or movies I review or to save you some time without giving any spoilers. Mainly because I dislike spoilers.

Like I want to invoke your tastebuds like hearing the holiday menu at grandma’s house and then you get to enjoy every emotion that goes with finally having your own plate of scrumptious food and enjoying every bite.

Now let’s take a journey to our first review.

The Extraordinary Attorney woo is a heartfelt, exciting, series. We get to feel an experience of what it could be like to be a person who has autism. We get to see how it feels when you don’t fit society’s idea of normal even though you are a genius, how you can surprise, embarrass, and even make those admire you who thought otherwise.

Park Eun-bin plays the role of Woo Young-woo, Attorney at Law. She is the first ever Autistic person to graduate Law School in Korea who also happens to have an insatiable love for whales. Attorney Woo Young Woo, whether you say it backwards or forwards is still Woo Young Woo.

Young-woo, battles everything that a young woman fresh out of law school can experience love from family, betrayal from family, jealousy of colleagues, the collusion of those who don’t want to see her succeed. She simply goes through self-discovery.

The most beautiful thing about this story is that you will fall in love with this character Woo Young-woo as she is unapologetically honest and a person in her purest form.

As with most Korean series I enjoy, the story line is well written, the cases are believable, the actor’s reactions are within a believable range. Quite simply, just an awesome cast of actors. Each episode is another enticing reason to watch more.

My favorite characters

The show also includes great acting by Kang Tae-oh who plays Lee Jun-Ho the loveable heartthrob of the series and has a great heart.

Joo Hyun-young, plays the tenacious best friend of Young-woo. Her character Dong Geulami, shells out all the advice as a best friend would. Whether good or bad, whether it’s wanted or not. She is that best friend for life.

Lastly, Woo Young’s Father, Woo Gwang-ho played by Jeon Bae-soo chooses his daughter over his career to make sure she has all the care and love she needs.

The characters I love to hate:

Everyone has An Archnemesis and Kwon Min- woo played by Joo Jong-hyuk proves to be Young-woo’s. His inexplicable behavior will make you want to strangle him at times; however, this is the very reason I must give Kudos to his acting skills.

There are so many characters that play a role and making this series exceptional, but if I listed them all you would have nothing to watch or any surprises.

I can’t wait for season 2 of the Extraordinary Attorney Woo. Season 2 is expected to air in 2024 way to long to wait. But I guess we can’t rush quality, nor do I want to.

This Series has 16 episodes

This series is a 6 heart lollipops rating for me.

This is one of the few shows that will get the top rating. Park Eun-bin brings Attorney Woo right into my heart and she stays. I’m a fan of Park Eun-bin as you can tell any role she plays she totally commit and she succeeds once again,

It’s easy to connect to this story line. I consider a show or movie great by the way it can pull out emotions in me and this is definitely that show.

There are very few if any times that this series drags on. I change to something different if the acting begins to feel like I need an intermission.

The moments when Woo Young-Woo has a brilliant Idea, that leads to a break in the case will become a sight you can’t wait to see.

This is just overall a great series from the writers to the actors to everything that goes into making this series a joy to watch.

Please let me know if you have watched, will watch, after you watch and whether or not you enjoyed.
