Bishop Fred Jones & The Jones Family Singers

The Jones Family Singer’s from Houston, Texas were originally called “The Sensational Zionaires” but was forced to change their name after traveling to Ville Platte, Louisiana to do a concert. They met a group of young ladies who fell in love with their style and took on their group name for their own. Meanwhile, they did not practiced as you might have thought and it became a problem when The Jones Family Singers traveled 50 miles of the city and it was confusing to the people who didn’t know which Zionaires they were getting. However, The Jones Family Singers didn’t won’t any confrontation between the group so they all prayed over about the name. Bishop Fred Jones stated, “When the Lord spoke to me and said, What’s wrong with your name”? I immediately said nothing at all Lord, and from that moment we became Bishop Fred Jones & The Jones Family Singers to which I dropped my name and kept the rest intact”.

What differentiates The Jones Family Singers being an artist are their mindsets , goal oriented for being out on the road, in churches, coliseum and more. As Christians they have a care for helping others in general. They stated, “A Family That Prays Together Stays Together” is the real truth for them. In a world where animosity, hatred and all types are present people need something they can hold on to and believe in and good solid gospel music is certainly a must have in these changing times. Bishop Fred Jones & The Jones Family Singers genuine love for people and what they do consistently makes us different with or without a paycheck, they still must give praise. To see the smiles on many faces as they minister to him is worth it all. They provided an escape from worries,fears, and anxieties that many are experiencing in this day. Bishop Fred Jones & The Jones Family Singers believe that when you’re different you can make a difference.

Bishop Fred Jones & The Jones Family Singers want to accomplish many things that are positive, but above it all they want to be able to set a good example for the youth as well as the Senior Citizen who attend their concerts. Meanwhile, they also try to make it a habit of getting amongst those in attendance to make them feel important to while they be performing entertainers. Bishop Fred Jones & The Jones Family Singers states, “We want our message and music to resonate with the hearers and to know that we aren’t among them just for the dollar, but their souls matter to us because it matters to God. We also want to imprint and/ or impress upon them via our music and manner goodwill and cheer. We believe wholeheartedly that people don’t care about how much you know until they know about how much you care. Therefore, we want to accomplish the God given mission of Matthew 28:19-20; Matthew 7:12. Bless people with that we have been granted for that particular reason.

In 5 years, Bishop Fred Jones & The Jones Family Singers would like to reach out the masses with good news of the gospel through their music and their mannerisms. They also see’s themselves in Rome, Italy, Australia, Africa, and other places across the Globe. They want to make sure that people understand the gospel and gospel music is not a relic of the past nor is it a battering stick to control people’s lives, but rather it is good news and great relief from the things that ails you. Bishop Fred Jones states, “Prophetically in five years, I can vision us helping to make the world better because as we go and come we learn more, we have more to give and as we become more seasoned in what we do, we become more valuable to those we do it for and in front of. We have played at temples, churches, colleges, prisons, street corners, hospitals and it all boils down one thing, people no matter their ethnicity, financial status, or breeding we all need love and encouragement”.

“ In 5 years, I pray we are doing more and more of being a blessing as well as being blessed”. Bishop Fred Jones & The Jones Family Singers brings their own authentic talents to the music world. In doing so, they only introduce their own music so that the masses will know for them. Periodically interject cover tunes so that the audience can participate with them and feel apart of what they are doing. However, from time to time they bring a few people upon the stage to rock & roll for Jesus with them. Bishop Fred Jones & The Jones Family Singers call and respond to involve the crowd. While in Russia touring they were invited to play as an Ambassador to Russia from the United States Mansion and it looked as though it was about to storm.

Bishop Fred Jones & The Jones Family Singers states,

“The Ambassador had guest from all over the world and he asked if we really did believe in what we were doing and we said yes we do. He said then pray that the rain don’t wash out this gathering because it was a huge gathering. We immediately began to pray( putting God on Display) and within minutes the heavy black clouds began to dissipate and the sun began to shine. It made a huge impact upon his important guests from around the world. This is what we bring to the music world, music and miracles”.

The legacy Bishop Fred Jones & The Jones Family Singers want all who follow to know that more is required of them than stardom they also want you to know that “no matter what you feel or impart what you don’t possess. They want to leave a “We can do this for the good of all attitude and a mindset to work. We want our followers who will one day be other leaders to know that without a caring heart, a sense of dedication and commitment as to why you doing what you do, you will just be singing. It has to be more, never allow money to be your only motivation for the reason you are out here. Poor work ethics can mean a poor outcome and can be quite depressing. Always remember that success comes in cans. I can, You can, we can, God can”.
