Angela “TheDeavine1” Frazier

Angela “TheDeavine1” Frazier is a native of South Side of Chicago, Illinois currently residing in San Antonio, Texas.

A Hero’s Promise is a project that was inspired and put together through God’s word while enduring faith through the storm of the loss of her three loved ones who was near and dear to her heart. The project came to life this year after dealing with the loss of her son Navy man A03, Deavon Christopher Frazier, who lost his life saving a drowning child at sea. TheDeavine1 ultimate goal for her most recent project is for it to benefit God’s people through encouraging words, allowing consumers to grow in faith, and helping her listeners get through any problems they are facing. TheDeavine1 states, “Through all her trials and tribulations God never left my side and he’s doing the same for you”. “I want to reinsure the world to live for Jesus is to gain eternal life in The Promise land called Heaven”.

What makes TheDeavine1 different is the ability to use a neo-soul combined with a contemporary gospel sound using her melodic base and contralto voice to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. TheDeavine1’s mission is to spread the gospel about Jesus Christ through music and song.

TheDeavine1 is not just an artist who sings, she write her own lyrics and background vocals. She incorporate theatre in her music. In TheDeavine1 Gospel musical stage plays, she not only write the script ,but also all the original songs that were written by her. TheDeavine1 use her gift of acting to perform in her productions as well. What separates TheDeavine1 from the rest of her peers is her unique sound. She states, “Answering the calling of God I am his vessel sent here to encourage, and motivate. and lead the saints higher in God”.

In the next five years, TheDeavine1 see’s herself traveling around the world Spreading the Gospel of God’s word through her music, theater, movies, and as an author. Her goal is to prepare the world for the ultimate worship experience, a praise festival giving all honor to God. She would love to see a worldwide Gospel Festival. TheDeavine1 always aspired to sing in a Broadway musical production at least once in her lifetime. She’s currently working on and finishing a series of musical children’s books, hard copies, and audiobooks.

The legacy TheDeavine1 would like to leave behind is for her children and grandchildren to know that “whatever gift you have, use it for God’s glory so that you can let your light shine so that man can see”. TheDeavine1 would will leave behind the word and the guide to know the Lord and savior through her gospel soul music and books. Her mission is to help save and lead as many souls to God. As she states, “I will preach to God’s people to get them delivered giving them a complete understanding of who God is through my music, theater, poetry, and books”. Other things people can expect from TheDeavine1 are a wonderful Gospel musical play called “Talk about Heaven” and a few more Platinum-Selling Albums. People can expect in the future a few published children’s books. This Project brought healing to her life through grief and pain. TheDeavine1 wants you to know “God can heal”, God is your comforter, and he will never leave your side”. Her focus is on making a difference in the world leading by example and helping others walk into their callings. “If you dream it you can achieve it, always remember you are undefeated”. “Always put God first, ahead of all you do in life, he will supply all your needs and grant you the desires of your heart as long as it lines up with his will for your life”. “You have been great to be great” is my motto.
