TikTok is the most popular app on the App Store; chances are you have it on your phone. Nicholas Pinto is no stranger to TikTok. In 2021, he signed up for an account and gained 500,000 followers in just two months. Here are a few interesting facts about him and what he does:

1. He took a selfie with Bonang Matheba and didn't realize who she was until three days later.

A few months ago, Nicholas was walking in Times Square when he saw a crowd of people surrounding a woman and snapping photos. He decided to do the same. When he arrived home, he quickly went through the clips he recorded in Times Square, put them together, and included the photo with the mystery woman asking Tik Tok if anyone knew who she was. The video, which was uploaded to @nicholaspinto_'s account, was seen by millions of people in a day and received mixed responses from users. Many of his fans said she looked like actress Zoe Saldana and others said it was South African television presenter, radio personality, businesswoman, producer, model, and philanthropist Bonang Matheba. Still unsure, Nicholas decided to make a second part to the video. Bonang ended up seeing the video, commented that it was her, and said the video made her day.

2. He is a keynote speaker.

Nicholas created a scooter wheel business at the age of 13 that was quite successful and earned him $100,000 in the first year. He became one of the youngest entrepreneurs ever featured in Fox Business and Huff Post. He was asked to give a keynote speech at NJMEP's National Manufacturing Day event in 2013 and 2016. His speech was around noon, so he was late for school both days, but his teachers understood why and were proud of him.

3. He owned a desktop computer before he owned an iPhone.

He's always been obsessed with science and technology, so when he was a kid, he and his youngest sister, Francesca Pinto, built their first powerful computer together from scratch. They used it to play video games initially, but shortly after, Nicholas discovered the opportunity the internet brings. A place for people from any part of the world to come together simultaneously.

4. He graduated from high school two and a half years early.

After discovering the internet and video games, Nicholas gained an interest in computer programming. One of the first programming languages he learned was Java, which he then used to create and manage a project from the ground up at age 15. The project was so successful that he had to graduate from high school 2.5 years early to work on it full-time with his team of 50 members. It ended up being acquired by a young, wealthy Canadian entrepreneur shortly after being launched.

5. He is very young and likes to help others.

Nicholas Pinto is only 21-years-old, but he's already achieved more than many adults. From creating and managing several successful businesses to becoming an overnight sensation on TikTok to working with Stella McCartney on a fashion project for Gap. Nicholas appears to be able to do virtually anything he sets his mind to. Aside from work, Nicholas likes to help the less fortunate by donating things like clothes or canned food and doing voluntary indentures whenever possible. He says that he's been doing it since the age of five and that he gets that trait from his mom, Patricia Pinto, who owns a non-profit organization called La Creme Angels Inc.
