So to begin this review, it needs a little backstory. Never fear, it's only a few sentences long. My boyfriend and I were bored at home, so I started looking at movies on Hulu to watch.

I am a huge horror fan, I love the adrenaline rushes and the stupid decisions characters make. So, I am looking around not seeing much that looks good, and there it is, Willy's Wonderland. I do a quick read of the summery of the movie and I am in love. "I need to watch this movie," is what I was thinking the whole time I was looking at the thumbnail.

The movie starts off with Nicholas Cage as the main character. He is simply known as the janitor. His car tires all go flat after running over a police tire spike. He then is forced to wait for the tow truck to bring him into town.

The man who owns the tow truck, Jed Love, tells the janitor that he can only pay in cash, something the janitor does not have. Jed assures the janitor that he has a friend who he can help and in the morning he can have his car with new tires back.

Jed brings the janitor to Willy's Wonderland. A closed restaurant that needs a deep cleaning. The owner of the building, Tex Macadoo, tells the janitor that the place was closed down due to an incident that happened years ago.

After Tex explains where all the cleaning supplies are, he leaves Willy's Wonderland, not before locking the door, though. While the janitor is cleaning the building, a group of teenagers are planning to burn down the restaurant for the deaths of several people.

The janitor soon finds out why he was asked to clean Willy's Wonderland. The animatronics are possessed by the souls of the people who used to work there. The animatronics soon start attacking the janitor.

The teens break into the locked restaurant and find the janitor to try and convince him that he needs to leave. The janitor blows off all the kids and continues to clean Willy's Wonderland.

The kids decide to take it into their own hands and burn the place down. they end up splitting up and being hunted down by the animatronics. stupid decisions, like trying to have sex, ends up killing two of the teenagers.

The janitor takes breaks ever hour or so, no matter what he is doing. He drinks a soda and plays on the pinball machine in the kitchen. The sound of his watch beeping starts and ends the breaks that he takes. The janitor even leaves fighting the animatronic to a teen girl because his watch beeps. He hands her the switchblade he had in his pocket and his off playing pinball.

As the story unfolds, the plot of the movie comes full circle and everything starts making sense. I loved the movie, it had equal parts thriller and comical to help brighten the mood and set the viewer back in their seat.

The ending is a sweet surprise, but I will not spoil it for anyone. I never thought the end would happen how it did, it really shocked me.

One thing about this movie that amazes me is the fact that Nicholas Cage does not say one word this whole movie. The only sound he ever makes is after a sip of soda or when he screams while fighting an animatronic ostrich named Ozzie.

If you are a full-blown horror fanatic or a lover of comedy, this movie will give you the best of both.
