Who In The Blue Hell ls Fred
The supernatural visitor to home.

To begin, I'm not one that started as a believer in the paranormal or the supernatural. That was, until my early twenties, when my first encounters brought me to a place where seeing became believing. But, those stories aren't easy to believe, and sometimes I wonder. Nevertheless, having lived them, I know that something weird and unexplainable can happen in the blink of an eye.
The first time I had an experience that sent shivers down my spine was as a young security guard. I worked in the same hospital as my great aunt, and would occasionally have a chance to stop and visit. On this one particular night, she was staffing the suicide hotline phone and there were no patients on the floor. So, when I cut through to do routine rounds, I stopped to see if things were going alright.
As I stood there, leaning over the nurses station desk, having a plesant two o'clock in the morning conversation, I thought I'd seen someone moving out the corner of my eye. I must have had a look on my face, because Mary asked what was wrong.
"I thought the floor was empty," I told her.
Mary assured me that it was, but when I told her that I thought someone just went into Observation Room One, she looked like she was worried. She turned on the monitor and we stood there, watching the room, as if expecting to see something on a monitor that was watching an empty area.
That's when the curtains appeared to be pushed open, in the middle, like a person using their hands to look outside.
I moved quickly to the room, and as I walked into the entrance, the curtains fell closed. There was nobody there.
"What the hell?" I asked myself.
Later, in that same room, there was an occurrence that made me a believer.
A seventeen year old boy was put in there for mental health troubles. Frankly, everybody thought he was a bonafide wacko. We'd already fought with him six or seven times, and it was starting again. But, on the final time, something was different.
My partner and I rushed to the mental health floor. Every male in the building was being summoned there, under what was an emergency call for "manpower." Back then, that was how it was done.
The 140 pound, 17 year old, had busted out of four-point leather restraints. Back then I was in tip top shape, and I could not have busted them at 240, and 6'4" tall, when I bench pressed 400, could arm curl a person, and was strong enough to break what I hit.
As we stood there, getting ready to go in, the kid lay on the hospital bed. His eyes turned inward, and he began to make strange, inarticulate sounds. That was what two guys in college and most of the American staff called it. However, there was one person who responded to the area that knew what he was hearing.
"You don't need manpower, or doctors," stated Dr. Ari.
Security knew him well and he was a friendly enough guy. So, I asked, what the hell he meant by that. Those were close to my exact words. Then, he explained, as this middle eastern doctor was turning ghost white as he listened to the kid.
"That, if I'm not mistaken, as ancient aramaic. If this kid is seventeen, and an American, and hasn't spent time overseas, then you have a real problem," he explained his theory.
As it turned out, the language was as dead as disco. It's not taught in the US, or very many other places, outside of someone learning history and studying archeology. There's zero chance a seventeen year old kid would know it, much less speak it.
After three weeks of dealing with this kid, who weighed less than an arm curl, and could go through six to seven guys like a hot knife through butter, he was immediately moved to a security ward in a hospital someone in Chicago. But, after learning what the doctor was getting at, it was enough to make a person believe in the supernatural.
Who The Hell Is Fred
By the time I heard of Fred, I already believed in the supernatural, had studied the occult, demonology, and dark practices, as they began to rise in popularity. Law enforcement in many areas were seeing an uptick in Witchcraft, rituals, and ceremonial practices.
Fred, is a demonic entity. No, that's not likely his name. Demons are believed by even the catholic church to lie.
Unfortunately, I haven't seen Fred. But both my brother and my son have. On separate occasions, they've described him to me. He frequently visits at night, and may be a dream demon. But, for them both to claim to have seen him at night, it seems like he's real.
Fred came years after my father died. After his death, my son and I freqently thought the cause of my father's old stereo turning on without anybody in the room, was in fact my dad, having stuck around to make sure we were alright. We'd see a ghostly apparition move from bedroom to bedroom, as if checking on us.
As it turns out, that's the demon. And it likely used my father's death to gain our trust, and get entry into our lives.
I know, it sounds crazy. I've seen some truly terrifying things, things no human should have to see. So, why can't I see Fred? Why has Fred not tried to influence, or communicate with me?
It remains, a mystery...
