“I don’t trust this,” Sarah, the group’s leader, whispered. “Stay close.”

As they ventured deeper into the town, strange things began happening. A distant cry echoed through the streets, but when they rushed toward it, there was nothing—just an abandoned playground.

“They’re not zombies,” Sarah murmured. “They’re… something else.”
