What Happened to Jack in the Walten Files?
This is the biggest mystery of the series.

I have finally watched the recent new episode to the Walten Files, and I still have one big question that still remains a huge mystery. We still have no idea what happened to Jack Walten. We got an amazing backstory to Rosemary Walten, his wife, who had been experiencing the grief with him of losing their two children to an unfortunate fate. Their two children are deemed missing, and they both learned that perhaps Felix had something to do with their disappearance.
Felix, Jack's partner that was one of the co - owners to Bon's Burgers, had hit the children while he was driving drunk, and had buried both of them in the forest, never seeking to possibly save their lives. I think that Jack refused to press charges against him, because he was planning to confront Felix on his own. He says goodbye to Sophia, their eldest daughter, and his wife, but he never confirms where he is going in episode 5.
Rosemary decides to wait for him, and she literally stands by the door all day, waiting for him to come home. By this point, she was already losing her mind over losing her children, so I think she was clinging onto Jack, because he was the only one left that could truly be there for her during her grief.
Rosemary suddenly gets a call from Jack sometime at night, and she answers the phone. She hears a distraught Jack, apologizing to her. Then she never hears from him again, and now she is left with only Sophia. They put up missing posters of Jack, but he is never found.
During the rest of the episode, Rosemary is experiencing horrible grief over losing three of her family members. Then sometime during the episode, we get a disturbing sequence of Rosemary finding a bloody version of Jack, and he is heading toward a lake.
After this sequence, things get so much worse for Rosemary. She continues to spiral out of control, to the point where she leaves her daughter behind in their home after having a horrible argument. This argument began when she caught Sophia watching her old wedding tape with Jack, and then Sophia reveals that she has been speaking to a white angel. She is then brought to a jail cell after having a manic episode, when she attempted to strangle the sheriff.
Rosemary is freed from a supernatural entity, that resembles the white angel that Sophia had seen and is led straight to Bon's Burgers. She runs into Bon, one of the animatronics, that is somehow alive. She speaks with him, and while this scene is completely terrifying, it was painful to know that Rosemary was truly too far gone at this point. Bon offers to help her heal from her pain, and he does do that for her, but not in the way that she expected. He tears her apart, and stuffs her into one of the animatronics. The episode ends with Bon telling Rosemary that he loves her, and she reluctantly accepts her new fate.
I believe that Jack is actually trapped in the Bon animatronic.
Perhaps he has fully embraced his madness, and it would explain why Rosemary had a strange and creepy vision of her husband covered in blood as he went into a lake. It explains the sort of sweet vibes we get from Bon before he slaughtered Rosemary. He even hugged her at some point, so maybe glimpses of Jack's soul does appear, but somehow, he is too far gone. Maybe the white angel is him, but another part of himself that reveals a dangerous side that leads to nothing but death and utter fear.
I would love to learn about Jack's disappearance in the near future, but the backstory that we got with Rosemary was an excellent storyline that only drives the Walten Files into a much more eerie mystery.
Episode 5 was a cinematic masterpiece that truly did a fantastic job delving into psychological horror, while making the audience feel sad at the same time.
