Wendigo Witch

In Canadian folk lore. The Wendigo is often described as a giant hideous creature with rotting hairy flesh and a ram or deer like head with antlers. It's believed that the Wendigo Spirit, haunts the North western woods of Ontario, Canada. and mainly chooses to inhabit the bodies of greedy or cannibalistic people. Once possessed, these people will inherit super human strength, and will crave human meat. They will also alter their appearance to resemble the wendigo's original form.

MISSING PERSONS

On December 16th, 1997. 46 year old John Saxton and 23 year old Wendy Saxton, a married couple in Ontario, Canada left in the early hours that morning to go hunting, but were never heard from again. Three day's later. Wendy's sister Evelyn Moore, filed a missing persons report after several failed attempts to reach the couple by phone or at home. The Hospital that John worked at, had also reported that he had not showed up for his shift that day. During the investigation, Evelyn told investigator's that she found it odd that Wendy would go hunting with him, being that she hated trophy hunting.

Two Weeks later, a young teenager by the name of Evan Smith, was arrested for driving a stolen vehicle. The plates on the Vehicle was registered to John Saxton. and was the same car him and Wendy, were driving in, the morning they disappeared. Evan admitted to stealing the car, but had no idea of the where about of John and Wendy. He was held in jail for grand theft auto. But could not be charged for there disappearance do to lack of evidence.

On March 5th of 1998, two hunter's discovered the grizzly remains of a Faceless middle aged man, in the North western woods of Ontario. The Coroners report, confirmed that the main cause of death was do to a close range gun shot wound to the back of his head. his body had been torn open, presumably by other animals. forensics and family members later confirmed that the body belonged to John saxton. Decay was minimal due to the winter weather making it easy to identify him. One week later. The naked body of a young woman was discovered about a mile away from where John was found. Her face had been torn off, and all her teeth were missing. Detectives familiar with the case. Believed it to be Wendy Saxton. Do to the deceased woman's hair length and color, matching Wendy's hair style around the time of her disappearance. Only it was later confirmed by Wendy's sister Evelyn. That it was in fact NOT Wendy, since She had gotten a tattoo on her Left forearm one month before her disappearance. She also told detectives that Wendy was having an affair with another man by the name of Henry baker. She said Henry was becoming to attached and was willing to do anything to be with her. Police questioned Henry, But found out He was in Detroit, Mi, on a business trip, during the time they disappeared. He also admitted to being married himself, with three kids. And Wendy was just some fling he met at a bar one night. He said she was drunk and kept talking about finding a real man to replace her dead husband. investigators found that odd. Being that Wendy never had any previous marriages before John, who was still very much alive during the affair.

Fast forward to October 10th, 1999. 19 year Jill Hestovich, Was reported missing by her room mate, who had said she was going to the woods to nature photos with her new camera two days prior to her disappearance. Her camera was found by a search group on October, 13th 1999. Crime lab developed the neg roll from the camera. Most of the pics were of Jill and the wooded area she was in. The last frame showed a tall woman, wearing a wolf like deer skull on her face. There was a tatoo on her arm, that matched a sketch drawn by Evelyn Moore a year and a half earlier, which confirmed that the woman seen in the photo, was once Wendy Saxton.
