The chances of survival are zero in this horror universe.

I'm pretty picky with args when it comes to horror. Args are Alternate Reality Games where people are able to interact with a horror story online that blends both reality and fiction together, creating an unforgettable horror experience. One particular story that caught my attention was Weird Birds, that I believe is the scariest one I have ever stumbled upon. It was posted on Twitter, and while the story only uses images, posts, and video, it is a very effective story that will leave you scared to death.

I've only watched two parts of this story, but from the first two main chapters, I was completely enraptured by his strange story. We follow several main characters, who are struggling to survive during the end of the world. In the first chapter, we are following a young man who finds himself being invaded by these strange creatures who are coming from another world through many portals that appear on Earth. He is stuck in Chicago, and struggles to survive, as he hears his neighbors get brutally slaughtered.

He eventually realizes that he must escape from his own home, when he learns that several creatures are residing in his own roof. He escapes from the home and is left to fend for himself on his own, trying to evade the creatures. Wherever he goes, he learns that the state is entirely empty, with no survivors in sight. He only found one, but he was unfortunately killed offscreen. The main character then learns a terrifying truth, one of the creatures followed him from his home. He is relentlessly stalked, and the creature eventually comes across the survivor, who is prepared for a fight.

He receives horrible injuries, but he is able to survive the fight, content that he bested the creature, even though it was still alive after their fight. The survivor then waits to die, accepting his fate.

It's a pretty straightforward story that is executed to perfection with the use of practical effects and disturbing sequences.

The second story is even more sad, as we follow two children who find themselves all alone, trapped in Florida after their parents are killed by monsters. They venture out into the world, determined to survive. The two children are hunted by so many monsters and then end up learning that one of these creatures is the same one from the first story, that refused to give up on pursuing the children. The kids last for a long time, slowly gathering clues from these strange people who are wearing odd looking suits, who have a connection to the end of the world somehow.

The kids then face an awful fate when one of them ends up paralyzed by a monster. The big sister is left to look after her little brother, and she comes to the realization that the two of them are most likely doomed. Then they are saved by these mysterious people in suits, and she is told the worst information. Her mother, who was pregnant, had ended her life in the hospital when she learned that a monster had entered her body, eating her baby. She believed that her entire family had been killed, and she had accepted death.

The children are taken care of for a short period by these people in suits, but then their fates are left unknown. The last image we get of these people in suits is when one of them is holding a syringe, about to inject the children. They leave a fake message for the internet, claiming that the children's experience was only fake, but their fate was never revealed.

It's a great horror story that any horror fan will love, but there is no hope for anyone in this universe.
