Was Nikki Possessed by Bear's Dead Cat in Obsession?

Since the movie Obsession has been out for a while now, I think now it's best to really get into spoiler territory when it comes to the crazy theories to this film. One specific theory that has really stayed with me, is the one where Bear's dead cat is possibly possessing Nikki. 

For those who have seen the movie, I completely understand how bizarre this theory sounds, but I have found way too many evidence pieces in the film, to go along with this insane idea. 

Bear makes a wish for Nikki to fall in love with him, for Nikki to love him more than anyone in the entire world. He said this wish with a lot of bitterness too, since his pet cat had unfortunately passed away prior to this event, and he wasn't feeling great. 

What if Bear unconsciously wished for something else in this moment?

We know that he had a huge crush on Nikki already, but since his cat had passed away that same day, maybe the wish used that part of Bear to somehow give him both of those things. 

Nikki and his cat were combined, sharing one body. It explains why Nikki was acting so weird too, and when it comes to a pet, that animal is going to love their owner with their whole heart. 

Here are other clues to confirm that this theory is true:

- Nikki's eyes glowed in the dark in several scenes of the film. A cat's eyes also glow in the dark. 

- Nikki waited for Bear to come home from his shift at his job, standing in the same spot for hours, soiling herself and even vomiting all over herself. Pets do this too, if they aren't taken to the bathroom in time. 

- The way that Nikki moves in several scenes in the movie is super weird, to the point where it becomes creepy. She moves backwards in one part of the film and also moves for a quick creepy second toward the end of the film. Cats can be pretty flexible. 

- Nikki watches Bear sleep in one part of the movie. Pets definitely do this too. I know this from personal experience, because a weenie dog that one of my family members owns once stared at her while she was sleeping. I'm sure that cats do this too. 

- Nikki hid behind a vase, covering her face with it, while standing in front of Bear when he was in bed. Nikki also yelled at him, asking why he doesn't love her. Pets do like to hide behind objects, and they do seek a sort of validation from their owner, seeking that love. 

- Bear attempted to leave his bed at some point, and Nikki yelled at him to stay with her. Pets don't like it when their owners leave. 

- Nikki ruthlessly murdered a friend that Bear showed a small interest in, right in front of him. She was very jealous of that girl, and she even dressed up like her at the end of the film. Pets do get jealous if their owners are showing their love to someone else.

The only thing about the film that does sort of deviate from the cat theory is the part where Bear goes to his job, and Nikki makes him lunch. It's a sandwich, and Nikki leaves him a post it note, confirming that she served him his dead cat. I think that the real Nikki was trying to get back at the other entity that was sharing her body, and maybe she knew that it was Bear's cat.

I'm aware that this theory is a different level of crazy, but I think it makes sense. 

Obsession is one of the craziest horror films I have ever seen, and the theories to this film are endless, driving me insane. 

I love it when films leave enough breadcrumbs to drive horror fans crazy!
