Top Horror Movies on Netflix

So scary but so enjoyable!

We all like Netflix. But what are some really good horror films they have?

  1. 47 Meters Down - Good movie. It's about two sisters who go on a vacation, they meet a couple guys and they decide to go shark diving. Except in a cage. The guys of course make it back up safely in the cage, but when the girls go down, oh boy! Something you will never catch me doing just because of this movie! I won't spoil it for those who haven't watched it yet, but its definitely worth it!
  2. Piranha - Great! I love this movie. Don't ask why. It has some funny moments, but when the piranhas break free from the surface, hell literally breaks loose. It's basically teenagers at the beach in a small town for spring break. But the movie itself revolves around the sheriff and her kids. Jump on and watch it!
  3. The Conjuring - Well, it's about a doll that actually exists! That's the scary thing about it. The actual paranormal experts in this movie are real, and they own their own museum with A LOT of different haunted objects. The doll itself is locked in a glass case with a warning that basically says, "Do NOT open!" Pretty freaky right?
  4. Teeth - Ok, this one gave me nightmares. The girl has teeth, actual teeth between her legs! So if she gets freaky with some guy, his crotch goes bye bye! That's messed up. Who came up with this idea? It's horrifying!
  5. Stitches - If you like clowns, you'll like this one. The clown dies during a birthday party and comes back. But I must admit, it has some funny moments! I mean why not? He's a clown!
  6. The Descent - You won't find me going down into a dark cave. It's a good movie to check out. It follows a group of women into a cave, like explorers or rock climbers. The creatures they run into are blind but can hear very good! So don't make a sound while you're inside a dark cave! Not to mention, the second movie is also on Netflix. You're welcome!
  7. Day of The Dead: Bloodline - Zombies! It basically starts out normal. A young woman as a student trying to work in a morgue, kind of like a doctor. She has a creepy stalker who is in love with her. But of course, everything goes down hill very quickly! This is one movie I definitely recommend you checking out!
  8. Pandemic - Kinda similar to a Zombie outbreak. But it goes in stages. Stage one, you're not a ravenous brain hungry monster. Then all the way up to stage five, full on "I'm gonna eat you!" It follows a woman basically trying to get back home to her daughter and husband. She lies about being a doctor from the CDC. But don't worry, that's all I will say about it. Go watch it!

That's really all the movies I'll recommend. But if you're into TV shows, Here's another smaller list of shows!

  1. Santa Clarita Diet - Starring Drew Barrymore. It's very interesting.
  2. Bates Motel - Based off of Psycho.
  3. Z Nation - All about zombies and a man who was bitten A LOT!
  4. American Horror Story - Probably my favorite show.

There's TONS of movies to check out and watch. I'm a huge horror movie fan. And honestly, Netflix really needs to add more to the selection. I like what they have right now, but they really need more. A lot of people are getting bored with Netflix, basically because they don't have much to choose from. Well not many horror movies or TV shows anyway. But if you have Netflix, go check out some the movies and shows I've listed! You never know, it could be your next favorite!
