Dead animals in the walls

When a family decided to insulate their home in 2015, they discovered dozens of dead animal corpses inside the walls. For a year, no one knew exactly what had happened to the family, or what might lead the parents to do something unimaginable. In January, police released more shocking details of the case. According to accounts by family members and an investigation by the police, the parents were motivated by a belief that the end of the world was coming and an obsession with a convicted murderer. Friends and family told the police that the parents were concerned about “the evil in the world” and wanted to escape the “impending apocalypse,” but most assumed they just wanted to move on. Investigators also found letters written by the father of this family to one of the most famous convicted murderers in the state, who was convicted of stabbing his sister-in-law and her one-year-old daughter. Police said that this father became a friend of this killer, and even visited him in prison with his wife.

In 2007, a series of phone calls to families with horrifyingly specific death threats was documented. The anonymous callers knew exactly what the families were doing and what they were wearing. Families say the calls come in at all hours of the night, threatening to kill their children, pets, and grandparents. Audio messages arrive, and they play recordings of their private conversations, including recordings with a local police informant.

The caller knows what the families said, what they wear and what they do, and after months of investigation, the police seem unable to stop them. This went on with a family for several months, who reported the presence of a caller with a gruff voice threatening to cut their throats.

When the police tried to find the perpetrator, the calls were traced back to this family's private phones - even when they were turned off, it only got worse. This family and two other families said they believed the callers were using their mobile phones to spy on them. They say the intruders know their every move, where they are, what they do and what they wear. Families and police said the callers recorded private conversations, including a meeting with a local detective.

Scary real horror stories

After moving into their dream house, which has a very high cost, this family started receiving death threats from a person who identified himself as “the observer.” Since moving in, the owners said they had received many messages from the mysterious person, and this observer claimed that the house belonged to his family. Decades ago he was tasked with watching over who would be the new owner. The new owners have several children, and among the other messages sent was, "Have they figured out what's in the walls yet?" and "I'm glad I know their names now, and the name of the little blood you brought me," the family was forced to flee their home and then sued the previous owners.

Exorcism

Last year I published a lengthy account of a family terrorized by three children allegedly possessed by demons. A family tells disturbing stories of children climbing walls and being thrown across rooms. Children threaten doctors with deep unnatural voices. It may sound like something out of a movie – a work of fiction, but all These accounts were on record. Within the official records, one of the more chilling sections of the report includes a section on the 9-year-old:

The 9-year-old had a "weird grin" and walked backwards up to the ceiling, then flipped over Campbell, and landed on his feet, never leaving his grandmother's hand.

The 12-year-old later told mental health professionals that she sometimes felt as if she was being choked and squeezed so that she could not speak or move. She said she heard a voice saying she would never see her family.

The mystery of Elisa Lam's death

This woman was last seen on January 31, 2013, in a hotel lobby in downtown Los Angeles, vacationing across the West Coast, documenting the trip on her blog, and calling her parents every day. On January 31 those calls stopped. L disappeared. Soon, the police and her family searched for her.

Elevators have been shown surveillance footage of Lam before her disappearance. The footage shows this woman behaving strangely and appearing to be talking to unseen people, staring around the corner of the door, leaning in the corner, opening and closing the door, but what exactly happens in this video raises more questions than answers, ranging, to unknown assailants out of view of the camera. :

Around that time, hotel guests began reporting strange things happening with the hotel's water supply. "The shower was horrible," said one guest who spent eight days there during the investigation. When I turned on the tap, the water would turn black first for 2 seconds and then back to normal, and the tap water also “tastes horrible.”

On the morning of February 19, a hotel employee climbed to the roof and used a ladder to investigate the hotel's water tanks. This is where authorities found Lam's naked, decomposing body, whose personal effects were found nearby. The tank has a metal latch that can be opened, but authorities said access to the ceiling is secured with an alarm lock.

But later a room inside the hotel with an unusual history was discovered, for a person convicted of 14 murders in the 1980s lived on the 14th floor for several months in 1985. International serial killer Jack Unterweger is suspected of killing three prostitutes during the time he lived there in 1991. He committed suicide in prison in 1994. In 1962, a woman jumped from a hotel window, killing herself and a pedestrian she had landed on. Elisa Lam also lived in this room.
