The "Perfect order to watch Halloween Movies"

Perfect order to watch Halloween Movies

This is how I would put all the Halloween Movies in this order and I think this the Perfect order to watch Halloween Movies.

If I talk about the current timeline:-

*Halloween 1978

The Halloween franchise is my favourite horror franchise of them all. I have been very generous to the original movie in the past when writing reviews of that film.

But now it's time, to be honest!

More recently, I've come to realise that Halloween (1978), while it was extremely well crafted for its time, has an incredibly cheesy soundtrack. The main theme excluded. That will always sound chilling and timeless.

The acting by most cast members is good for a film like this.

But there are exceptions!

PJ Soles and Nancy Keyes unintentionally ham it up. Soles being given cringeworthy lines like, “Can I get your ghost, Bob?” just makes things worse. Thank goodness then for Donald Pleasence to keep things serious!

The choice not to reveal adult Michael's appearance until the last quarter was a great creative choice that helps to ramp up the tension. It is just a shame that I think that there should have been moments where there should actually have been no music.

Nearly every scene has something playing over it, which makes me think these days that they went a little overboard.

The scariest scene from Halloween

*Halloween 2018

I have put this on number 2 to watch Halloween Movies continuously.

As a huge horror fan and a Halloween fan, even more, I felt that the movie expressed the franchise differently. It took something from the original franchise movies but gave us something different to indulge-, which is never bad.

I have thoroughly enjoyed watching the movie. Especially, in horror content, this is my absolute favourite one.

I thought the direction of the movie was quite the same suspense we’ve experienced from the first movie, bringing in easter eggs from the last Halloween films we’ve seen through the years.

It took the dramaticism and screenwriting we’ve come to expect from what we’ve seen with Halloween chapters H20 spinoffs. But, it gave us a certain angle we’ve never expected in this film from beginning to end, an angle of the canon.

The reason for this is because of the way how the movie’s organized: instead of continuing where it left off from Chapter 6 and before H20, it completely goes through the first 2 movies and doesn’t continue afterwards from Chapter 4 on (as Michael Myers is kept in a hospital due to excessive burning).

Instead after Chapter 2 the movie itself rolls 40 years later from that timeline back to Haddonfield, Ill. Laurie Strode has PTSD and continues training until she sees Michael Myers again.

*Halloween Kills 2020

I have put this on 3rd number in order to watch the entire Halloween Movies.

After the amazing 2018 Halloween, I’m itching for more Michael Myers mayhem. What makes the wait all the more difficult is knowing that the sequel Halloween Kills is 100% finished, though was postponed a year from October 2020 due to COVID-19.

And rubbing salt into the wound are the constant reports from those who’ve seen it singing its praises.

One of the most common is horror legend John Carpenter, who directed 1978 original and continues to provide the iconic synthesizer-based scores.

In previous interviews, he’s talked up the carnage coming our way, saying that Halloween Kills is “insane” and that it contains ten times the amount of kills as Halloween (2018).

*Halloween Ends 2021

This is going to be a thriller for all the Halloween lovers around the world. I am putting this movie to watch after Halloween Kills 2020 to watch the complete Halloween Movies series.

Halloween Ends will be much more personal than its predecessor, Halloween Kills. 2018's Halloween revitalized the long-running horror franchise, retconning the films that had come before it to make a direct sequel to the 1978 original.

Jamie Lee Curtis returned as a PTSD-stricken Laurie Strode. The film followed her as she grappled with the trauma leftover from that horrifying night in her youth.

Halloween also explored generational trauma themes and how people can pass their past horrors onto their children and grandchildren.

First Timeline:

1. Halloween 1978

2. Halloween II

3. Halloween IV

4. Halloween V

5. Halloween: The Curse of Micheal Myers

This is the second timeline to watch the movies.

Second Timeline:

1. Halloween

2. Halloween II

3. Halloween H20

4. Halloween Ressurection

Rob Zombie timeline, I named it with its original name Rob Zombie to categorize it for the people who love Zombie movies.

Rob Zombie Timeline

1. Halloween Rob Zombie

2. Halloween II Rob Zombie

And there’s also Halloween III, but that has nothing to do with the other movies since they wanted to make it an anthology series, but that idea was shut down after Halloween III.

So this is The "Perfect order to watch Halloween Movies".

So that's all in this list created by me. I hope you would have loved this entirely if so, then give heart to this post and use the tipping option to support.

Thank you

Have a great day!
