Chapter - 3 :

The friends had uncovered the secrets of the abandoned house, but they still felt like something was amiss. There was a lingering feeling of a ghostly presence, and strange occurrences were happening all around them. The lights flickered, doors creaked open, and they could hear whispers in the air. It seemed like the more they delved into the history of the house, the stronger the ghostly presence became.

One night, as they were gathered in the living room, they felt a chill in the air. Suddenly, a gust of wind blew out all the candles, and the room was plunged into darkness. They heard footsteps approaching, and then a faint voice whispered, "Get out!"

The friends were terrified, but they were also determined to figure out what was going on. They decided to try to communicate with the ghost, to see if they could learn more about its past. They gathered around a table, lit candles, and placed their fingers on a planchette.

They asked the ghost questions, and the planchette began to move. It spelled out words, slowly and deliberately. The ghost told them its name was Sarah, and that it had lived in the house over a hundred years ago. Sarah had died tragically, and her spirit had been unable to leave the house.

The friends were moved by Sarah's story, and they wanted to help her. They asked her what they could do, and the planchette spelled out, "Find my diary."

The friends searched the house high and low, looking for Sarah's diary. They scoured every room, every nook and cranny, until finally, they found it hidden away in a secret compartment in the library.

They opened the diary and began to read. It was filled with Sarah's thoughts and feelings, her hopes and dreams, and her sorrow and despair. As they read, they felt like they were getting to know Sarah, and they felt a deep sense of empathy for her.

They learned that Sarah had been in love with a man named William, but her father disapproved of the match. Sarah and William had planned to elope, but they were caught by her father. William was killed in the ensuing struggle, and Sarah had died of a broken heart.

The friends knew they had to do something to help Sarah find peace. They decided to hold a seance, to try to communicate with Sarah's spirit and help her move on.

They gathered in the living room, lit candles, and held hands. They called out to Sarah, and they could feel her presence in the room. They asked her to forgive her father, to forgive William, and to forgive herself. They asked her to let go of her anger, her pain, and her sadness.

Slowly, Sarah's spirit began to fade away. The room filled with a warm light, and the air was filled with the sound of a beautiful melody. The friends knew that Sarah had finally found peace, and they felt a deep sense of satisfaction and relief.

As they left the house, they knew that it would never be the same. They had uncovered the secrets of the past, and they had helped a lost soul find its way home. They knew that they would always remember the ghostly presence of Sarah, and the lessons they had learned about love, loss, and forgiveness.
