The Mask

One hot afternoon in the school field of "Future Life Academy Boarding Secondary School", Students were gathered around a lying body on the field, it was a junior Student's corpse. Some students were crying, some were stunned and afraid.

"Who saw what happened to her" asked the school principal, one of the students answered "she came downstairs to ease herself..., Immediately the ambulance arrived and took the girl's body to the mortuary.

Students were ask to go back to thier prep hall, by the principal. The students in the prep hall was asking each other what could have happened, Suddenly the principal speaking through the public address system said "go back to your hostel and remain calm".

Meanwhile in the house of the victim (the dead student), the mother who came to the school the day after the incident and threaten to sue the principal and the school, was crying her heart out as her husband console her, "my only child" she screamed.

Few weeks later in school, after the sudden death of the student, everything went to normal, school activities, games, prep and all. Even the students and teachers were no more living in fear, no one even talk about the incident again.

Until one faithful Friday night, the school nerd "Luna", was down the hall way, when she screamed very loud. Everyone came out including the hostel keepers, "out of shock" they were all asking her what happened, and all she could do was to point in an empty space.

Everyone was confused, all of a sudden Luna fainted, water was sprinkled on her, she woke up few minutes later, "go and get some rest Luna too much reading can make one crazy" and the student laughed except Khloe, who helped her up into the hostel (Khloe was a type of person that took religion very serious).

When they got to the hostel she asked Luna what she saw, but Luna was weak to speak, Khloe thought it was best to let her rest and she (Khloe) left the hostel.

It was Saturday morning, everyone were doing thier laundry, some were chatting while others
are writing their note. But Luna and Khloe were in the Library alone, "What did you see" Khloe asked Luna, "I can't explain, but it was a human being, a man I think on a cat mask, he was holding" she paused, "Holding what" asked Khloe, (then Luna continued) "He was holding Jenny's (the dead junior Student) head in his hand". What!!!, shouted Khloe, Hahaha came a laughter from behind them, it was Gina, the school bully and bad birch.

"Nerd brain washing Khloe the weirdo", she said. you both are nothing but a waste of creation, cause I can't imagine why the two of you will be discussing on something that is is is..., I just don't know. (Gina referring to Khloe), I thought you were wise, but here you are with this freak. "Pickup your own size Gina" said Khloe, and stop eavesdropping on other people conversation, it will do you no good, she said as she drag Luna and they walk away.

Everyone was done with their laundry and it was time for afternoon prep, During the prep Khloe sat close to Luna, as she (Luna) continued the discussion on what she saw, she said "the head was trying to say something to me but I was too scared". Khloe then calm her down and asked, they should pray together and they did.

It night already, about time to sleep, Luna was scared of sleeping alone, so Khloe asked her to sleep with her, As they were sleeping...
