The Kidnapping Ghost

Joe, a caller on "Monsters Among Us," describes his move from California to Georgia in the late 1990s. He claims that shortly after, his brother trailed him to the Peach State, where they rented a historic home dating back to the 1800s.

Joe states on the podcast, "It did not feel good from the inside, even though it looked nice from the outside."

Joe claims that as soon as he assisted his brother in moving into the house, something didn't seem right. "When I entered the house, I thought, 'Oh, man.'" I simply felt uneasy, like this location isn't cool at all, and the hair stood up on the back of my neck," he adds.

Joe claims to have heard murmuring a short while later while moving furniture into the bedroom.

"A heated whispering, almost an argument, between two people that seemed to be hovering in the top of the ceiling area of the room," he continues.

After leaving the room, Joe questioned his brother if he had also sensed something strange about the place. Although his brother sensed something was off, he reassured Joe that everything would be OK.

"As long as you're good," Joe claims to have said to his brother. "I'll assist you even if I'm not very good. I'm leaving for home and most likely won't return."

Indeed, strange things started happening in the house to Joe's brother.

The most concerning, though, comes from Joe's claim that his young niece was discovered strolling by herself and holding her hand aloft on a busy road.

The 4-year-old brother of the man who was summoned to investigate the incident—along with other agencies—explained that she had gone for a walk with the "old lady that lives here."

"She just wanted to go for a walk, so we went for a walk."

Nobody could figure out how a 4-year-old was able to escape the house, since the front door was too heavy for her to open by herself.

Joe reported that his niece added, "We went for a walk after we petted the dog for a little while after the old lady opened the door."

Joe states on the podcast, "At 4 years old, she was so genuine and honest, that he couldn't call her liar."

His brother moved soon after and never came back.
