The House of Corpses

Some houses don’t just remember death… they collect it.

The Town of Hisar

This is the tale of a forgotten town called Hisar — once filled with life, laughter, and families, now nothing but dust and whispers. At its heart stood a crumbling mansion the locals called “The House of Corpses.”

Twenty years ago, 13 bodies were found inside that house… all in one night. No signs of struggle. No clues. No explanation.

Since then, no one entered again.

The Dare

Nida, a fearless journalism student, decided to visit the house with her three friends — Daniyal, Hafsa, and Areeb — for a paranormal documentary. They wanted real content for their YouTube channel.

Hafsa was nervous. “They say the corpses in that house can still talk.”

Nida laughed. “Then let’s go hear what they have to say.”

The Entry

At 11 PM, they stood before the rusted gates of the house. Breaking the old lock, they stepped into a heavy silence. The smell of dust, burnt wood, and something… older.

The walls were cracked. Shadows moved like they were alive.

Suddenly, a door slammed shut on its own.

“Must be the wind,” Daniyal said, trying to sound confident. But everyone was shaken.

Strange Findings

They made their way to the basement. It was colder than outside — unnaturally cold. Blood-stained handprints lined the walls… fresh ones.

Then they found a locked box.

Inside was a photo: A family — mother, father, two kids — smiling.

On the back was written:

“They’re still waiting for someone to join them.”

Just then, Areeb froze.

“Someone’s staring at me... I can feel it.”

He ran upstairs.

A second later… a scream echoed through the entire house.

One by One

When the others followed, Areeb was gone. Only his phone lay on the floor — still recording. The video showed a girl with black eyes and no expression.

And her voice:

“One is taken. Now three remain…”

Terrified, they rushed downstairs.

But now, a room they hadn’t seen before stood open.

The 13 Chairs

Inside were 13 wooden chairs — each labeled with a name.

The third chair said: “Nida.”

Next to the chairs… were 13 corpses lined up beneath white sheets, their eyes open, staring at each other in silence.

Daniyal gasped, “They’re… fresh.”

Then a whisper filled the air:

“Next.”

Reality Shifts

It was past 3 AM. The doors were sealed. The house alive.

The lights died.

Suddenly, voices echoed around them:

“Nida… Hafsa… Daniyal…”

Hafsa looked into a mirror. But the reflection wasn’t hers — it was someone else. Someone dead.

Daniyal replayed the camera footage… and screamed.

They weren’t in the video.

Instead, three corpses now sat where they had been. Dressed exactly like them. Same faces… no movement.

Morning Horror

At 6 AM, a police patrol found the mansion’s front gate wide open.

Inside, they discovered four fresh bodies.

Nida. Daniyal. Hafsa. Areeb.

Their faces frozen in terror. Eyes wide open. As if they'd seen something that no mind could survive.

Next to them was a diary with just one chilling line:

“Each year, the count must return to thirteen.”

To This Day…

Locals say that if you walk near the House of Corpses at night, you can hear laughter. Sometimes crying.

And if you’re unlucky… the door opens on its own.

Thirteen chairs still wait in that basement room.

One of them is still empty.

Maybe it’s waiting for you.
