Sarah had always been fascinated by the supernatural. As a writer, she found that the macabre and mysterious were often the most interesting subjects to explore. So when she heard about an abandoned mansion on the outskirts of town that was rumored to be haunted, she knew she had to investigate.

Her friends warned her against it, telling her stories about the strange occurrences that had been reported over the years. But Sarah was determined to find inspiration for her next book, and she was convinced that the mansion held the key.

As she made her way through the overgrown gardens and up the creaky steps to the front door, she felt a sense of unease wash over her. She pushed it aside, telling herself that it was just nerves, and stepped inside.

The mansion was dark and musty, with cobwebs hanging from every corner. As Sarah made her way through the rooms, she began to feel as though she was being watched. She heard strange noises and saw things moving out of the corner of her eye.

But she brushed it off as her imagination, chalking it up to the eerie atmosphere of the mansion. It wasn't until the sun began to set that the occurrences became more frequent and terrifying.

Sarah tried to leave, but the doors and windows were mysteriously locked, trapping her inside with the malevolent entities that seemed to be closing in on her. She knew that she had made a terrible mistake, and that she was in grave danger.

As she searched desperately for a way out, Sarah stumbled upon a diary that belonged to the previous owner of the mansion. The diary told a chilling tale of a deal made with a demonic entity, a deal that had gone terribly wrong and led to the family's murder.

Sarah realized that she had stumbled into the midst of a cursed mansion, and that the entity demanded a human sacrifice every year. She knew that she was next, and that she had to fight for her survival.

With no other options, Sarah called her friend, Alex, for help. Alex arrived at the mansion and they worked together to survive the horrors of the entity. They found a way to break the curse, but it was not an easy task.

The curse could only be broken if the chosen sacrifice could stay alive through a full moon, which was only two days away. Sarah and Alex worked tirelessly to prepare for the coming full moon, facing off against the supernatural forces that seemed to be growing stronger by the minute.

Sarah knew she had to be careful. The full moon was upon her, and the entity was more powerful than ever. It was like it could sense her fear and was feeding off of it. She could feel it lurking in the shadows, watching her every move. Suddenly, she heard a loud crash and felt something grab her ankle. The entity had caught up to her.

Sarah fought with all her might as the entity tried to drag her away. She kicked and screamed, but it was no use. The entity was too strong. Just as she thought it was all over, her friend burst into the room with a flashlight and a wooden stake. The entity recoiled at the sight of the stake and Sarah took her chance to break free.

As the two of them fought off the entity, Sarah remembered the words of the old woman. The only way to break the curse was to survive the full moon after being chosen as a sacrifice. She knew she had to hold on for just one more night. With the help of her friend, Sarah was able to stay alive through the rest of the night. As the sun rose on the new day, she felt a weight lift off of her shoulders. The curse had finally been broken.

Against all odds, Sarah had managed to survive the full moon. She and Alex were forever changed by the experience, but they knew that they had triumphed over the malevolent spirits that had haunted the mansion for so many years.

As Sarah drove away from the mansion, she knew that she had found the inspiration for her next book. But more importantly, she had survived the horrors that had been lurking within the cursed mansion.
