The Ghostly Roommates

In the small town of Ravenwood, there lived two roommates, Lily and Jane. They had moved to the town recently to start their new jobs and had found a small apartment in an old building in the center of town. It was a quaint little place, with creaky floorboards and old furniture, but they loved it nonetheless.

However, little did they know that Ravenwood had a dark secret. The town was haunted by a group of old people who had passed away years ago. They were known to terrorize the whole town by making objects fly across rooms and slamming doors shut with great force. The townsfolk had learned to live with it over the years, but it was still a spooky experience for newcomers like Lily and Jane.

One night, Lily woke up to the sound of shattering glass. She jumped out of bed and found Jane already standing in the doorway, looking out into the hallway. The two of them stared in horror as a vase flew off a shelf and shattered into a million pieces on the floor.

The girls were paralyzed with fear, but they knew they had to do something. They decided to investigate and went into the living room, only to find that all the furniture had been pushed up against the walls, leaving a wide open space in the middle of the room. It was as if someone had created a dance floor.

Suddenly, Lily heard a whisper in her ear, "Dance with us." She turned around, but there was no one there. She turned back to the living room, and to her horror, saw the old people, dressed in their old-fashioned clothes, swaying to a tune that only they could hear.

Lily and Jane were terrified, and they tried to run out of the apartment, but the door slammed shut, locking them inside. They were trapped with the old people, who continued to dance around them, their ghostly laughter echoing throughout the room.

Suddenly, one of the old people reached out and grabbed Jane by the wrist, pulling her into the dance. Jane screamed in terror as the old person spun her around and around, faster and faster, until she lost her balance and fell to the ground. She hit her head on the hardwood floor and lay there, motionless.

Lily tried to help her friend, but the old people wouldn't let her. They continued to dance around her, their ghostly feet pounding the floorboards. Lily realized that they weren't just playing a game; they were trying to kill her.

In desperation, Lily began to recite an exorcism prayer she had learned online, and suddenly, the old people vanished. The room was empty, and Jane lay there, unconscious but alive.

The girls moved out of the apartment the very next day, and they never spoke of the incident again. They knew that the old people were still out there, waiting to claim their next victim, and they never wanted to be a part of it again. From that day on, Lily and Jane made sure to never live in an apartment that had any hint of the supernatural.
