The old wood house had been sitting on the edge of the woods for as long as anyone could remember. It was said to be haunted by the ghost of a man named Finch, who had been murdered there many years ago.

One day, a group of teenagers decided to spend a night in the wood house. They had heard the stories, but they didn't believe them. They thought it would be fun to spend a night in a haunted house.

The teenagers arrived at the wood house late at night. They brought sleeping bags, flashlights, and snacks. They were excited to have an adventure.

The teenagers entered the wood house and found that it was dark and dusty. The furniture was covered in sheets and the air was stale. They explored the house, but they didn't find anything out of the ordinary.

The teenagers decided to go to sleep. They spread out their sleeping bags in the living room and turned off the lights.

In the middle of the night, one of the teenagers woke up. She heard a noise coming from the kitchen. She sat up in her sleeping bag and listened.

The noise sounded like someone was rummaging through the cupboards. The teenager got out of her sleeping bag and crept towards the kitchen.

When she reached the kitchen doorway, she saw a figure standing in the darkness. The figure was tall and thin, with long, bony fingers. It was wearing a black cloak.

The teenager gasped in fear and the figure turned to look at her. It had a pale, gaunt face with sunken eyes. Its lips were curled into a cruel smile.

The teenager screamed and ran back to the living room. She woke up the other teenagers and told them what she had seen.

The teenagers didn't believe her at first, but then they heard the noise coming from the kitchen. They all grabbed their flashlights and ran to the kitchen.

When they reached the kitchen, they saw the figure standing in the darkness. It was even more terrifying than the teenager had described it.

The teenagers shone their flashlights on the figure, but it didn't move. It just stared at them with its sunken eyes.

The teenagers were terrified. They turned and ran out of the wood house. They didn't stop running until they reached the edge of the woods.

The teenagers never went back to the wood house again. They told everyone they knew about the ghost of Finch, but no one believed them.

Many years later, a young woman named Sarah decided to move into the wood house. She had heard the stories about the ghost, but she didn't believe them. She thought it would be a fun challenge to live in a haunted house.

Sarah moved into the wood house on a sunny day. She opened the windows and let in the fresh air. She cleaned the house and made it feel like home.

Sarah didn't see any signs of the ghost of Finch at first. She lived in the wood house for several weeks without any problems.

One night, Sarah was awakened by a noise coming from downstairs. She sat up in bed and listened. The noise sounded like someone was walking around in the living room.

Sarah got out of bed and crept downstairs. She reached the living room doorway and saw a figure standing in the darkness. The figure was tall and thin, with long, bony fingers. It was wearing a black cloak.

Sarah gasped in fear and the figure turned to look at her. It had a pale, gaunt face with sunken eyes. Its lips were curled into a cruel smile.

Sarah knew that she was looking at the ghost of Finch. She was terrified, but she tried to stay calm.

"What do you want?" Sarah asked.

The ghost of Finch didn't answer. It just stared at her with its sunken eyes.

Sarah backed away from the ghost of Finch. She turned and ran upstairs. She locked the door to her bedroom and hid under the covers.

Sarah lay in bed, shaking with fear. She could hear the ghost of Finch walking around downstairs. She knew that it was looking for her.

Sarah spent the rest of the night hiding under the covers. She didn't dare come out.

In the morning, Sarah got out of bed and looked out the window. The ghost of Finch was gone.

Sarah packed her belongings and left the wood house. She never went back.

The old wood house still sits on the edge of the woods. It is said to be haunted by the ghost of Finch.
