This is a verified unaltered photo taken in the middle of the day using an iphone. (Hawaii, summer 2019)
HISTORY
The custom home was built general contractor who lived out his life in the home and eventually died there, in his bedroom on the 2nd floor. The home was then passed down to his son who allowed it to become a trashed party house. This must have angered his dead father because he began haunting the house. The house soon became known for having a very angry ghost in it.
The bank foreclosed the home and put up for auction. The man who bought the home heard about the ghost problems - but bought the house anyway because it was such a low price. He bought it as a rental - renting out individual rooms. He said every time he tried to put someone in the dad's bedroom - they wouldn't make it thru their first night. They would hear loud noises and get attacked. So he padlocked the door and
THE FIRE
The house was so trashed when he bought it - he spent a year and $125,000 renovating the whole house. When he was down to the last 3 days - he took a drive to the hardware store. As he arrived - he got a frantic call from his neighbor saying "your house is on fire!!! He rushed home to find the house as you see it in the photo. He took the photo while waiting for the fire trucks to arrive. The arrived too late... the home had burnt to the ground. They determined the fire was caused by the extension cord used to run the fridge in the garage while the renovations were taking place.
THE PHOTO
The photo was taken on an iphone. The fire department had not arrived yet. He didn't even notice the figure on the deck until I saw it and took a screen shot zoomed in and sent it back, asking "who's the guy on the deck?" He assured me there was no one standing there when he took the photo.
Just in case- I had the photo examined by a ghost debunking service. They determined that it's an unaltered image. They said its not a ghost. It's just a naturally occurring shape within the fire that happens to look like a human shape. I find that hard to believe considering his clothing: high top work boots with camo pants tucked in, and the wide rim Nam/safari type sun hat with the cord that hangs below the neck, are what general contractors often would wear in Hawaii when the home's builder was alive.
I see a man in a hat leaning on the railing. his left arm is bent up by his ear. The sun is shining on his arm. I think its one of the best real ghost photos taken in many years. You decide for your self.
The ghost continues to haunt the now empty lot.
